Only game I am not totally confident with in terms of Fyfe is ironically Round 1 against Port
Have that game as

3 votes - D.Mundy (14 disposals in last quarter, 29 total with 10 clearances)
2 votes - O.Wines (Was Ports best player in a close loss. 27D with 2 Goals)
1 vote - D.Pearce (Provided outside run on with 28D and 2 Goals. Used the ball incredibly well)

Most places I have seen have actually given Fyfe the BOG for this match, but I haven't even had him in the votes. Difference between that would be either 26 votes (which is what I have him on now) and 29 (which would put him a game clear of Priddis)

Not being a smartarse, but why is that ironic?

I guess ironic wasnt the right word
More so unusual. Usually Round 1 votes are read out pretty quickly on Brownlow night as if they hold no real consequence
There are flashpoints at every medal count, and it just seems a little strange that one of these moments might be the first votes read out for the count.

oh OK. Then yes you're right, ironic def the wrong word. Right one here would be "interesting", because it is interesting that your vote might come down to such an early round.

I was worried my count had the favourites with overestimate counts as i feel like i favour them, but yours has even higher totals. My leaderboard is

Fyfe 33
Danger 26
Priddis 25
Hanners 23
Mundy 21
Pendles 20
Mitch 20
Cotchin 20

33 for Fyfe seems very high - do you have a break down of his votes per game please?

Really? What were your 3-2-1's here? I ask because not only did they lose this match by 24 points, using stats or SC scores many players had more impact than he did. Wondering how you thought he'd get 2 votes in a losing side with minimal impact?

I agree, think Priddis is the main contender with Dangerfield a tiny chance if he polls out of his skin.

I am thinking to just cross my fingers that Fyfe doesn't get suspended for the next two weeks. Cash out after Cripps takes the Rising star. Little bit risky but I am pretty sure he has it.

Great bet!

Personally, i think you should cash out take the $1500 then place $500 on cripps & fyfe @3.50 - you've guarenteed yourself $1000 profit with a chance to win a further $1750, and if it falls through and fyfe or cripps do not win, well you have $1000 and no need for what ifs! Win-Win situation, thoughts?

Josh Hill (BOG medal) and Shuey I thought were the Eagles best in the derby
Hill, Mundy and Sandilands were the Dockers most consistent, but i'd expect only one of them to be in the votes given the loss

I have

3 Hill
2 Fyfe
1 Mundy

I know that WC won but Freo dominated the game for large parts and just couldnt put it on the scoreboard. Fyfe had 12 clearances, 3 contested marks and 21 contested possessions. They are huge numbers. After the first quarter he led the freo fightback.

Hill obviously eagles best but thought they were a very even team performance whereas Fyfe and Mundy had cracker games.

Fyfe had a cracker third quarter. Apart from that he had no influence. Won't poll.
