I think he'll be affected when Rich moves up the ground and plays on the wing. Adcock would then need to go back to HB like he has a few times this preseason already. Take a look at the numbers he was producing in 2007. I remember him always being a lock in my SC side back in the day.
Despite his score (ball usage was a bit under par but not concerned and last quarter scaling killing his score), he showed more than enough for me over the pre-season to be a solid selection for his price. Won alot of the ball, has always been a very solid tackler and laid a lot of tackles, prefers to kick over handballing and looks fit. Reckon last season was an aberration and he'll be back to ~90ppg making him a worthwhile selection. Just need to consider how many of these low $400k players a team can carry considering the likes of Newnes, Lumumba, SDT and the like are also interesting prospects and whether going with a few of these is an option.
