Biting the bullet - downgrading Jacobs to a mid pricer means I can upgrade a midfield rookie to Ollie Wines.
Will have to upgrade back to a solid ruck later in the season but it's no burned trade if it saves me a midfield upgrade anyway.

Might actually be a good way to go considering it looks likely that a lot of rucks will drop in value, and history seems to show that very few rucks manage to maintain top billing from one year to the next.

Which midpricer out of interest?

Deciding between Grundy & the Burger; one is young and likely to miss games to rest him (and there's pressure from Witts) and the other is made from tissue paper so the upgrade may not be to the timing I like.

There's no easy solution to the rucks this year.

I'd rather take a punt on Zac Smith and hope he can stay fit.

Stef martin got injured today. Probably not serious at all but still could add value to burger or the third string ruckmen at brissy if he misses any time

hmm so if stef and luey go down, do they have a fit ruckmen?
Jonathan Freeman is listed by SC as a forward but is 198cm tall and could probably play in the ruck. He's out for 10 weeks with glute injury according to afl website however.

is anyone going with ruck cover via dpp?

How much are you spending on your 3 ruck spots combined

I'm tempted to just risk it with Goldy and NicNat, leaving Read as R3.

Thoughts on Jonathan Giles?
Wouldn't go near. Was a good scorer in 2012, but he was GWS' only decent ruckman. Will be competing with TBC this year and I'd stay away from both. Not sure on his ruck stats, the new rules might not help him either

Tom Hickey is a better selection for not a heap more $$$

No I'm going Goldy, NN, Read now. I'll just trade if one gets injured rather than having Lycett/Ryder/TBC when there are better options

If goldy gets rubbed out for a week.
No injury etc

Reilly O'Brien to play all three Crows NAB matches if he goes alright tonight.

Walsh reckons he's in the mix for Rd 1.
highly doubt he'll play round 1, even if he smashed nab cup
I can see him being elevated mid season and get a few games down the track when 1 of their injury prone big boys goes down

I have Hickey at R2. How is he travelling?
