Some bigger bodied mids would be nice.High possiblity 2 of these will be in the Red and Gold of the Suns next year.

Looking like a top 5 pick at the moment, maybe even top 3 , I assume the other pick is an end of first rounder?

It'll be 3 inside the top 25
Seeing how Clayton drafts, it will probably be a 70kg 400m runner that hasn't picked up a football.
Or a 200cm basketballer project player whose played 1 season of AFL rules has no footy smarts.
I would take Cripps, or Murphy. If carlton had more then 2 good players id say raid them.. They're rebuilding want 6 first round picks in the next 2 years.
Only problem is.. They have no1 i really want
If I were them I wouldn't trade Cripps for a first rounder, would you?I would take Cripps, or Murphy.
Cripps is pretty special but I don't think he is the type player they will look to trade out. He would be the focal point of their rebuild IMO.I would take Cripps, or Murphy.
Jack watts is the exact player we don't needWhat about Jack Watts for Sam Day? Both look like they could use a change of scenery. I'm pretty sure there was a rumour in the early parts of last season that Watts had been talking with the Suns. Watts is a free agent next year so Melbourne would probably want to avoid another Frawley-like situation and trade him a year out if the right deal presents itself. Jack has played over 100 AFL games and turned 24 earlier this year. Could be worth a look just based on his experience alone. I know there are question marks over his mental toughness and his ability to turn it on at the AFL level but Sam Day is no better in that regard.
We still haven't got a proven off field development program. Go through the last 5 years and single all our top 20 picks, and tell me they have all shown enough to warrant their "high" selection. I strongly disagree with using all 3 picks and would love for us to trade 1 or 2 package with a player or something. If we have 3in the first 25 normally I would say trade all 3 for a higher pick or gun mature players but for 2 reasons I wouldn't do it this year
1. Almost all of the top draft prospects seem to be 185cm and 70kgs, so it's a bit of a crap shoot, more picks give us a higher chance of succuss
2. There will be a clean out at years end and 3 fresh faces without baggage and3 less rock stars, sounds like a solid step forward

We still have no training facilities and top assistants to develop youngsters, I think we are almost forced to buy established good players short term
He is stuck in our broken system, perhaps a program like Carltons would see him flourish and all it would cost is your first pickWhat's happened to sam day

Seen it suggested by a few that Will Minson could be in red and gold next year.Just wanting a highly efficient half forward and a decent bloody ruckman
Ppl who wont turn it over and do clangers!!
