Fanatics need to be removed from the gene pool.
There is a seriously good chance that channel 7 and tennis aus have kicked in a fair amount of cash to have them there.The fanatics chants are just terrible

Geez, I wish 7 were showing the Kokkinakis match, just following the scores it looks like a absolute cracker.
Channel 7. Giving us what we don't want in sport for years...BT, Luke Darcy, SD sport coverage, the fanatics, etc.
We should make it a drinking game. Eveeytime he mentions coming to the net, shot.

Whoever was interviewing him said something like 'great support from the fanatics' to which he replied that they can be a bit distracting at times but they relax him a bit too as they take his mind of the match so that can be a good thing (paraphrasing). So he kind of criticised them and praised them in the one sentence. I get the impression that they players are expected to support them.
Can confirm this isn't the case. It's just a case of lining up early enough in the queue to get good seats. Will admit that when I was there last year they were far more vocal and had far better chants than this year.
They cut to a shot of them just before and there was only about 3 of them chanting.
