All bids were inactive prior to 6pm last night, soon as it hit 6pm all leading bids became active, so ol mate with 7 leading bids has 7 active bids

Well then it seems unfair to allow only 2 from others when some have 7. It doesn't make any sense to me. It doesn't say anything about a limit of 2. In fact, the only mention of limits says there are no limits. I realise now that it is in the sentence referring to the led up to now, but it doesn't say anywhere that it has now changed. Why disadvantage anyone who didn't bid on 7 players before now?

There is very little to no advantage in having extra active bids though. Nobody is disadvantaged because anybody can still bid on those players. The only thing it has done is shortened the bidding timeframe on those players and made it so that coach cannot bid on any inactive players until somebody else does so.

Yeah, I understand that. It's my mistake. I guess I should have asked about it as I didn't see this restriction in the intro at all. I assumed it was another change.
I just completely misunderstood the intention. I was planning on bidding on a couple of others as well over the next few days.

You can still place bids on players who already have active bids, it's just the inactive players you can't bid on. Any player red or dark blue is fair game .

Yeah, I was planning on trying to get a couple of cheaper, lesser known players while everyone was fighting over the others
