What a nightmare. Embarrassing week but a few games lost with the last kick of the game which sucks. Weather changed an hour before the game started in Adelaide:thumbsdown:

Me too Ch16.....I just had a peep at the Adelaide radar and it looks like the rain about to hit Adelaide will cause minor flooding in Adelaide.

Can't keep a good man down. With the form you're in son you'll be back on top in no time.

Weather guru specialist.

Now i'm sure your all waiting by the keyboard hoping for your next sugar hit of psychological tips so here they are:

So it's Pav's 350th plus as expected he has confirmed round 23 will be his final game. There has been a bit of hype leading into the game and expect Freo to come out hard and to play with plenty of passion.

Sydney on the other hand are (for them) expected to field a very young and relatively average squad including Hewett, Foote, Naismith, Cunningham, Towers, Aliir, X Richards, Heeney, Lloyd, Mills and possibly Nankervis to cover for Sinclair. You wouldn't want Buddy to have a quiet day. Have only won 3 of 6 with Tippett out and if they field the same squad as last week they could be in trouble here.

I'm on SB with Freo twice because at least they should win the 1st or 2nd with a bright start and will look into hedging with Sydney if needed. Against Geelong, Freo ended up with a nice quarter time lead before being clawed in and I think Sydney do the same in a close tussle. Also like Freo to cover the line.

Apparently poor Mitch Wallis was "screaming uncontrollably" in the medical rooms which would have been a shattering experience for team mates. Tragedy also for Redpath who will miss 12 months. Now i'm not sure of the impact the above would have but I can't imagine it would be good.

Additionally I think the wheels are starting to fall off a bit. WB can't score and if Stringer is to miss again then if they bomb it to Boyd vs Taylor or Lonergan then i'm not sure where the goals are coming from. They got pounded by Geel at Etihad so i'm not sure a trip to Skilled is something to look forward to. Party time at the Cattery with a couple of milestones on the line. Cats at the line.

If I was Essendon and you finally build some form and become a reasonably short favourite then give up 128 points to a crap team with most of their midfield out then it can't be good for your mindset. You then have to travel to Adelaide against a team on the rebound, when your best performance on the road has been to lose by 61 points. They have been atrocious on the road and due to face the leagues most potent forward line. I expect Adelaide to cover the line and Essendon to have the week off.

Apparently NM are outstanding in milestone games. Bit of a blockbuster for North here and I suspect a few teams might not have noticed the Saints record in Melbourne of late (7 from 7) and not given them enough respect. Very good win for the Sainters last week, but they might be due a letdown as they have struggled to maintain their intensity for extended games (although the letdowns have near exclusively been on the road).
Interesting round of football with NM, Geel and Ade covering the line. Freo on the other hand (while I didn't expect them to win) I expected a bit of passion and enthusiasm for Pav's 350th coming against a relatively inexperienced Sydney team. Unfortunately I was at the game to see the pitiful display where they simply rolled over from the start. Even the coaching seemed uninspiring with Walters seemingly spending the entire game getting blanketed by Smith while not even running through the midfield.
