If they offer a good deal on the first day do it. If offer us rubbish string it out and wait for something better.

We have enough picks to get any deals we want done independent of any O'Meara deal.

Should try and get Gunston or Breust in the trade, both already 3 time premiers its now time for them to make that money, offer them a contract they can't refuse

I don't even care if it reflects badly on me, but I agree 100%.

I can understand players wanting to 'go home'. I understand players fulfilling their contract and looking elsewhere. But when a player, of whom a club has sacrificed so much for, decides to up and leave after 2 years of paid rehab to a foreign state that they've never lived in, to join the reigning premiers and best team of the past decade, it shits me to tears. Jaeger is a little campaigner and he'll get what's coming to him. Hope he does his ACL in the preseason and is forced to retire - ungrateful grub.
 
I can't believe anyone is shocked he nominated hawthorn. I hope we royally **** them over and blindside them by convincing a star to leave

Haha, no kidding, it is slightly mean but I can't help but hope for a Buckley situation out of this. May he go without a premiership for the entirety of his career while King Tom and Prince May scoop two or three. Lame indeed.

You know what, f**k this shite... The AFL Let's this bulls**t happen!!! What's the point of having a draft if a player can go wherever they want as soon they come in to their prime. It's broken and the rich(vic) clubs will bitch and scream if anything is suggested to rectify it. God forbid one of them finish last one year.

We offered him a very generous contract for someone coming back from injury. He didn't have the decency to look us in the eye and say he wanted to play in Melbourne. We find out that it was Hawthorn already, call him out on it and he & his manager carry on like the victim.
He then wastes other club's time with half hearted medicals before surprise, surprise I choose Hawthorn.
Quality play Jaeger.
