While your argument makes sense I'd just urge a touch of caution. It would be very easy for him to read that and go "you're right" and put down more money.

While most of us here gamble in a controlled manner I think we have to becareful not to encourage others to gamble more than they otherwise would. Particularly those who aren't so wise with their bets.

Fair point, that wasn't my intention. I was surprised he hadn't taken them h2h considering how confident he seemed.

Swans suddenly out to $2.90 on tabtouch post team announcements...but no significant new outs considering the large spike in price?

I have heard Hannebery is under an injury cloud. He only managed 72%tog, didn't lay a tackle and didn't attend a centre bounce in the second half against Port Adelaide, despite the game being on the line.

Might not be because of any outs, more of a case of no big ins for the swans. Plus dogs had a couple of handy inclusions.

Liking Sydney with the TABtouch promo though at $2.90

I think the Cashback options from WH and bluebet are solid too. While the bulldogs are such short favorites I'm just not sure they have the forward talent to make it a 6 goal margin.

Great promo by Ladbrokes tonight, offering $2.30 on the Tigers for a maximum stake of $50.

If I really wanted to, I could put $50,000 on the Tigers at $2.30 elsewhere.

Another bogus promo.

I think the odds are the wrong way around and should not be in Collingwoods favour. Who makes the odds because that's pretty strange how it's come up like that.

I said 50/50 yes as a natural perspective it should be that given how early it is in the season both side don't deserve odds over each other.

Personally though I think as the season goes on Richmond will win more and be placed much higher then Collingwood on the ladder. This time at the end of the year those odds will be the other way around.

For now though Richmond are worth the odds.
On the money, sir!

For Sydney standards they have named an awful team. Questions on Hannebery, Jack underdone, Rampe out. Got on WB -9.5 when heard Rampe was out.

Agree. I'm expecting a much better team effort against the Doggies but I just don't think we have the cattle to match it with them at the minute. Footscray weren't all that sharp themselves last week, but I still feel they've got us on toast and should win by 4-5 goals, maybe more.

1U Taylor Adams Group 2 Fantasy @2.50 (SB)
(Group 2: Taylor Adams, Bachar Houli, Brandon Ellis, Will Hoskin-Elliott, Josh Caddy, Jeremy Howe, Jack Riewoldt, Josh Smith)

Most bookies have in him group 1 and one of the favourites for top scorer in the game. Some decent players in that group, but DT wise he's a level above the others imo.

Was looking good until a ridiculous 50 Point last quarter from WHE. Tailed the Nank/Mayne bets after looking into them for 1.3U each so finished with a bit of profit at least from that game.

1.5U JPK>Hannebery DT Points @1.80
Hanner's seems under done and like he might be carrying something. JPK also has a fairly solid record against the dogs (we all saw the GF). Could be a steal here if Hanner's isn't 100%.

1U Betts <78.5 DT Points @1.87
Apparently been sick and missed training, might not be 100% either if he plays. Scored 85 last week with 4 goals which I don't think he'll get. Poor DT record against the Hawks, last 3 scores against them have been 39 twice in 2015 and a 57 last year.

He is really battling. His knee is stuffed i reckon.

Usually he lays the most TOG of the mids and also onball/wing.

His pre season was terrible and must be due to injury.
