Love it!!
I would have liked them to include Prestia to go with Rance and Jack to add some new flavour, and to have a setup of 2 mids, a forward and back, but heaps better than the previous years.

Was there ever any doubt? Most would say that this is the obvious group.
Nice to have it simple. Gun kpf, gun kpd, gun ball winning mid. Simple.
Should have been like this for 3 years.
Jack always deserved to be in it even though imo you don't need to be in the leadership group to lead.

What I like is that it's a less vanilla combination than in previous seasons. Cotch is your serious professional (though all three are very professional when they need to be), Jack and Rance are your personalities to make it a little more interesting and who other players (and fans) naturally gravitate towards.

Also is it me or does Cotch look a little more relaxed in the photographs?

They've got this one bang on. Every training I've ever been to, Jack and Rance are always the most vocal and assertive. Great job Richmond.

Good to see Neil Balme come in and cut through all the bullshit eminating from the club. Keep it simple stupid!

I'm pleased that Jack and Rance have moved into the leadership group. Both are consistent leaders and elite performers in the league. These three leaders look more like three powerful on field performers rather than three 'natural' leaders. I think on field, Cotchin leads by example. Rance and Jack are always directing and demanding - I love this.

I would have loved to see Dusty in the group based on his on field ability but he is far too insular to be a leader at this stage. Vlaustin has all the potential but needs the on field performance to be considered.

Caddy seems like a natural leader to me but has been with the group too short of time to be voted in.

Certainly agree with a 3 man leadership group, and really happy that Jack is back in, as he is Richmonds heart and soul.

However rubber stamping cotchin again is a mistake

Cotchin has proven that when the chips are down and we need him to fire he fails, time and time again.

It was a great opportunity to give Rance the job, he has earnt the opportunity and is the only player at the richmond football club, that is the best in the league for his position.

This was overall a disappointing decision.

They should have taken it off Cotchin, its like Cotchin and hardwick are joined at the hip.

lol again... if a decision people like is being made, its balmey, if not its hardwick.

So if Balmes fingerprints were all over our leadership change, if he was that against Cotch being captain don't you think he would have changed that as well?
