I've been tempted by Kreuzer before, it wont end well. Your playing this too close to the heart, just let him go, he will never be what you want him to be.

At his price and fully fit he is value and that is saying it with a team alliance far aside.

He is due to be given a full season without injury and the new 3rd man up rule helps him.

I liked what i saw in the JLT and he is the backbone of our club, not to mention he will be thrown forward to rest and is a great set shot at goal.

Lots of discussion on Witts at R2 .......but what about the forgotten man Nathan Vardy @ $265K ....#1 ruckmen at West Coast
Until he goes down again.

Guy had some potential, but hasnt played more than 9 games a year since he started. His body just cant hold him up for longer enough to be relevant in SC. Petrie would be a better option, because he will be all thats left after Vardy goes down.

I see your point but every player that has body issues will get that season they remain injury free and no player is injured every single season missing 8+ games on end etc. The wheel turns eventually.

Hence the value. ;)

You really think he has 30 ppg improvement in him? Good luck to you, I hope your right, he is a bit of a wasted talent otherwise. But it seems more hopeful than anything.

Easily.

In saying that i see Gawn and the other Premos dropping massively by Rd 8 in price so if i need to upgrade when they are cheaper so be it.

Going cold on Sandi for R2

He's just so old haha

He had 37 hitouts in the final JLT match yet only scored 65, that's a concern considering Fyfe, Neale, Hill and Mundy had ripper games in the middle

Always liked the idea of Ryder at R2, as it gives me a chance to see which ruck is performing well in the first 8 rounds, then swing him forward and bring in a ruckman

That was from 65%TOG for his 37 hitouts and 68SC pts, not bad considering

He was taken off in the 4th to lick the crust off Lyons bum crack

Alright, after 3 months of swapping back and forth, here is my definitive ruck tactic (well at least I hope so):

Rucks: Nank, Sandi (Strnadica)
Fwd: Ryder

First off, I think Ryder will have a good year, should ruck well alone and keep Lobbe in the two's, I can see him pushing around a 95+ average which is good enough for me.
Now, if (more likely when) one of either Nank or Sandi burn me in the first few rounds, I can trade them out, throw Ryder in the ruck via DPP, and downgrade Nank/Sandi to a fwd rookie bolter. Essentially, going to use Ryder as a fail-safe.
However, if both Nank and Sandi burn me early on...I'll just quit SC

Nankervis has played what, 17 games ......do people really think he'll consistently score well every week, in what will basically be his first full season :

1. Against some awesome ruckmen of the competition

2. That at his price, and with an obvious inconsistency in scoring, will he make enough to increase in value

Think you know how i feel .......trap!

Played 65% TOG
Nothing to worry about

But by all means, get rid of him
