LOL @ Dandelion Darling wrestling the Dee player over the boundary line showing his masculinity by tackling him to the ground then when the Dee ended up on top of him he flapped his arms away like a farkin' bunni
It's September, the time of year you lot spend in hibernation, go back to sleep.

He kicked 3.3 with 7 marks and 17 disposals in a prelim.

You can go back to your purple hole now troll. The adults are talking.

Doing the rounds today. Takes a maximum of 3 years for a team to win a flag after drafting a Rioli.

1990: Hawks draft Willie senior: Win 91 flag.
1998: Bombers draft Dean: Win 00 flag.
2007: Hawks draft Cyril. Win 08 flag.
2015: Tigers draft Daniel: Win 17 flag.
2016: Eagles draft Willie: Win 18 flag?
Maurice Rioli was a runner up in his first season - could also head in that direction too. Happy to give up a Norm Smith to Willie Rioli for the flag.

The vic bandwagon will fill up for Collingwood for sure.

People always over estimate what hardcore fans think about rivalries. Average Joe doesnt care that much and sees it as another Vic vs WA thing... regardless of who the Vic club is.
You really could not be more wrong.

If anything, most Victorians who are not Collingwood supporters are probably less likely to go for Collingwood than non-Victorians, because of that familiarity.

Kind of feel like the Pies played their GF on Friday. Can they bring the same manic pressure to four finals weeks in a row?

It’s kinda surprising interstate fans think vic fans want other vic teams to win, the only time I remember going for the vic team over an interstate team was 2016 and that’s because of Cola

You guys keep saying this. Seems like it’s more wishful thinking than anything else.

I remember Steve Bracks saying we should all get behind Collingwood when they were playing Brisbane in '02/'03, because they were Victorian and Brisbane weren't.

I'm pretty sure the roar of universal laughter smashed everyone's ear drums.

Without having lived in Victoria, I can vouch that whilst a minority of Port/Crows fans would barrack for the other SA side, most would barrack for whoever is playing the cross-town rival in a GF.

It's the A(V)FL media that talks up the Victoria vs the rest thing. Sometimes people assume all Victorians will therefore go for the Vic side.

Can’t wait just thrilled to be there. A real 50/50 game and really enjoy watching Collingwood this year. Both teams have had similar expectations coming into this season and overcome injuries to get where they are so it’s a great achievement for both clubs.

It’s my first time going to a gf and I bought a package back in May so I’m bloody stoked my team made it.

Just hoping the rain stays away, I wonder when was the last grand final played in the wet? Can’t recall off the top of my head
How much do you pay for a package that time of year ?

And Cox as well, so should even things out.
Not really, as good as Cox was on the weekend all he has done all year is make a contest and we haven't needed much more from him. We have had 5 other forwards kick more goals than him this season. Cox not kicking goals won't be a problem.

Talls dont get any smaller in the wet is the old chiche. If anything im sure the rain will affect the pies mids.
Lets be fair the weather wont decide the game

If it rains enough to make marking conditions tough I can’t see the Eagles winning, Pies were all over the eagles in the qualifying final until they started plucking a few in the last, a ground game definitely suits the pies.
