Yeah ofcourse but most people don’t just bet on B365. Free cash out allows people to place a bet then if a competitor offers a better price, cash out and take up the other bet. Also it makes them vulnerable to people cashing out just after a sudden injury or something before the books can adjust. That’s what i meant by hindsight. And at the end of the day void bets are a lost opportunity to make $ and that’s why i was a bit suprised by this because casinos and bookies typically never allow you to just take your money off the table unless it benefits them. Then again, if it gets them alot more customers then may be it’s worth it for them.

Well it's the same as why I don't get Ladbrokes doing odd boost on favourites out beyond $2 since it means customers can hedge on Ladbrokes and another betting agency, but if it works for them..

B365 always seem the best when it comes to cash out and other features from a customer service perspective, so can't complain.

Lol yeah true. Those bets aren’t favourable for them, neither is the sportsbet 24+ promo. They’re just a marketing ploy to get you on board. I suppose this B365 thing is just that. Enjoy it :)

B365 will love you cashing out whenever you want given the rake they will take - cash out is definitely FREE MONEY - for the bookies.

I think you missed the part where you can cash out your full stake. That's what we're discussing.

On this fiction that cash out is stacked in the Bookies favour - it is in some occasions, and not in others. I cashed out a $100 stake on the Cats for $95 when the Hawks had the ball with a minute to go. Roughy goes on to kick the point and Cats lose, so how was that not 'free money' for me when it was abundantly obvious the Cats were going to lose?

Results oriented much? Cats could have quite easily turned it over and gone up the other end and scored

My point was more how is "paying" $5 to gain your money back in such a tilted situation (quite literally as I cashed out Roughy took the mark) in the bookies' favour? If I'd cashed for $50-60 then I would be agreeing, but it isn't always tilted their way. Playing the cash out takes as much skill as picking a live bet. I'm not fixating on the result (Hawks won, vindicating my cash out) and in fact I'd be saying the same even if the Cats had won, because of the situation in the match.

Well your point seemed to be that it was free money because the Cats were obviously going to lose. When it wasn't.

How much you cashed out for isn't really the point either. If you thought the live odds of Hawthorn represented value at the time then fair enough but sounds like you just got lucky with Roughead taking a mark I50 not long after you cashed out and you're using that to argue that it was free money

Yeah that's my fault for wording. It's not about it being free money, it's about the real odds of the match not being reflected in the cash out value. If a team has a set shot to win the game with a minute remaining you shouldn't be able to get back 95% of your stake.

It's no different to people putting money on Geelong at 3/4 time for $4 odds arguing that represents great value even though they went on to lose by a point. Even if Cats had won I would still argue that that cash out value was great value.

The cash out disappears for me at around the 5 minute mark I think
Maybe a close game is different
That's awsome
I love 365 and the cash out option
Not so much during the match
I can hit the total when they come out Monday morning
If another bookie betters it I can swap

Yeah I couldn't believe it was still active.

.

Except you couldn't you already he said he took the mark AFTER you cashed out.

Ok, sorry, when the ball is in the air about to be marked by a Hawk you shouldn't be able to get 95% of your stake back, but I did. I'm genuinely surprised it didn't freeze me out, as previously mentioned normally it locks out in the last 5 mins.
