Or boost their morale if those coaches were flogs?
The Bont is wearing his magic red undies this weekend, stats say they win by an average of 10 goals when he wears them. But I also heard Mary from merchanding’s cat got run over last night so the team’s morale will be down and probably cancel out the Bont’s undies. 50/50 game for me, Magic undies model says NO BET.

More and more of us are getting limited by sports betting companies, will there be laws for sports betting minimum bets like in horse racing?
Sick of everything tilted in their favour and Australian govt doesnt help, just makes things worse ie. Why cant we place live sports bets online? Phone calls take too long
why dont we organise a protest and do like a bet free monday where no one bets anything at all
Use a real bookmaker like Topsport or take your money to Betfair, it could use all the help it can get with liquidity on AFL.

Yep it's pretty annoying.I've had my SB & WH made useless.Topsport are good.
It would be so refreshing if there was a minimum bet law in Sportsbetting.

And the politicians crap on how Sportsbetting is so destructive to people.Sportsbetting losses for the punter is around 1 billion compared to the slot machines which is up near 14 billion.
The politicians have got it all wrong.

I was VERY bullish on Collingwood until I heard the (excellent) news that Alex Johnson has been named for his first game in nearly 6 years and 5 knee recos.

As far as morale boosters go they don't come much bigger than that, premiership player and an absolute hero in the eyes of the players.

Underdone - 2674 days isn't enough - would be keen if they brought him back after 2681

Forecast changing to rain in the late morning and afternoon showers has made me very keen on Richmond -17.5 @ 2.00 and Richmond over 86.5 @ 1.89.

It is going to take a lot to stop me from putting several units on the Lions to win big on Saturday. I'm talking three or four units, which I rarely do these days (because bankroll management is the only thing saving me from falling from 'mug punter' level to 'potential problem gambler' level).

Here's why I like the Lions:

*No Higgins. North's best midfielder out. Wins ball, uses ball, runs both ways. And attracts the tag (and off-ball attention)...

*...which means Cunnington or Ahern now cops the tag/attention. Complete change to midfield structure.

*Cunnington and Ahern were both beasts against West Coast. If either drops output on Saturday, the entire midfield setup collapses.

*It is warm in Brisbane right now. Imagine 'hot' Melbourne weather in October. That is how it is in Brisbane right now. Warm during the day.

*This will test a North side which is mediocre in terms of fitness. Hobart was freezing, this is the opposite.

*North have been well beaten by teams on the spread several times this year. Brisbane can easily outspread this North team.

*Since the bye, North have beaten the Bulldogs, the Suns, and an injury-ravaged West Coast. Spanked by Collingwood by ten goals.

*Lions have a habit of front-running once they gain ascendancy. If they win in the middle, this could be a bloodbath.

*Even when North were an improving/good team (2014-2016) they seemed to struggle in SEQ. Lost at least two 'gimme' games IIRC.

With sportsbet offering $4 for Brisbane to win by 30+, this could be the 'bankroll job' Oraz has been waiting for.

Check out the disposals markets in North vs Brisbane. Remember there is no Higgins.

Clarke $2.30 to get >25 touches (which he has done the previous two weeks), already one of the biggest runners in the team. On a hot day will be the most important player in this regard. Worth one unit.

McDonald crazy odds to get 30+ touches (which he did last time these teams played). May be pushed into the middle as cover for Higgins so expect a greater disposal output. Worth 0.1 unit.

Both terrific options as part of a same-game multibet for odds more juicy than an in-season mandarin.

Ziebell/Dumont as main cover having said that increase across the midfidld group ahern, Anderson ect

Please take into account the games at Gabba when comparing to Etihad.

With that said
1U R.clarke @3.25 >24.5 disposals (3/4 and 2 from last 2). LADBROKES

1U Zaharakis @1.75 >24.5 Disposals avg over 28 disposals for the year. Hasnt gone below 25 at the MCG this year. 5 from 5. LADBROKES. Did onky have 22 last week

The pollies think they are doing us a favour by making it harder for us to live bet....what they are actually doing is costing us money...with online live betting it's so much easier to get the odds you want and can actually save you money by allowing you to get a good arb bet on...so often the opportunity is lost spelling out your account number / bet number to some bloke sitting in the call centre

I pretty much just "live bet" these days...It is really frustrating not being able to just click a button and bets on.
To make it easier for "live betting"....I mostly try and wait for breaks in play - I.e. Quarter time etc

do brisbane ever really send a lockdown to anyone? i guess mitch robinson could take cunnington or ahern inside yeh? but he still goes after his own ball and isnt entirely negative.. im pondering a clarke/ahern/cunnington kicks handballs stack on pointsbet... the totals aren't very high its weird cunnington is down in the 160's hes normally above 200... does hot weather often affect away teams disposals?? the lines are clarke 111, ahern 156, cunnington 163... you multiply their kicks by their handballs by your stake eg $1.. so if clarke continues his 15 x 12 kind of form it'll be a nice profit even at $1 of around $70

I also love north melbourne as slight underdogs now... Waite in always makes them look so much better and helps Brown.. yes higgins is out but i think with so much on the line theyll get the job done here

I normally only put 1U on player markets (sometimes 2 if i really like it). But Unibet have just posted an absolute gem. Lambert has played 9 games with prestia in the team this year for 229 disposals (av 25.4). Without prestia he has 166 disposals in 9 games (av 18.4). Most bookies have dropped his line slightly for this week to 22.5 or 23.5 but Unibet still have him at 25.5. Id hammer it if I could but im heavily limited.
