Anyone want to try and guess what our side is going to look like.
Bare in mind that I don't know what Formation our new coach likes to play, and don't follow a lot of the obscure leagues that our guys play in.

So Guerrero is allowed to play after the rival teams said he should be allowed to play.
In before he scores key goals against the other teams..
ridiculous to help a direct rival .
The players realise what the world cup means. They're mature and don't want him to miss the opportunity to play as they themselves know how crushing it would be to miss out. They also have enough belief in themselves to win no matter the calibre of the opposition.

Simon Hill said that BVM said to him we are playing 4-2-3-1 and thats how we've been lining up in training. Categorically said "No" when asked if there is any chance we play 3 at the back. Your team looks to be a good guess apart from LM and RB which is anyone's guess atm.

Edit: And Wright obviously.

Wright didn't make the squad, Jurman likely to partner Sainsbury I would think.

Otherwise team looks pretty good, that left wing is definitely a problem position but Irvine might be the go.

It might seem crazy but I could even see us running Jedinak/Milligan holding midfield combo and pushing Mooy up to CAM and leaving Rogic out of the side against France atleast.

I was thinking today we could play Rogic as a false nine against France and aim to get him the ball between the lines. No idea if BvM would actually entertain that however.

He's like the anti-Ange. Will have to wait and see if it actually makes more defensively solid.

Is it considered a shock that Wright wasn't named ?
I thought he was in good form domestically, and has always impressed me from what I saw at Socceroos level.

AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSSSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If it was up to me cahill wouldn't be going to the world cup but we all know that won't be happening
He's got experience on the big stage and is proven though. I understand why you have these sentiments but he's earned the right but more so proved his worth. He's like an experienced, battle hardened fighter. He can handle the pressure and knows how to get it done.

I'd take him.

Tim Cahill only needs one moment of brilliance, time and time again he has dragged our asses out of the shit, he plays every day for me.
Behich makes great space but can be wasteful with the ball, Wright I'm glad isn't going, gets caught out of position too often and I have never been impressed with him.
Jurman plays and Milligan goes into the middle, Rogic needs to work hell of a lot harder, he should look at the workrate of Mooy.
Tommy Juric has a great first touch to deceive defenders but his finishing is atrocious. The keys against France are the wings, Leckie needs to get on his bike in our back third and break that line that France will set pushing up really high.
If we can defend that short run and passing around our box we'll then half the battle is won, France ain't just going to whack long balls into our area.
