Prediction 2018 Membership Tally - 60,000

• We defeat Melbourne;

• Selwood's 25th game?

I recon taking into account those things, plus the near 1k a week growth plus the clubs push to beat our all time record which is 56,*** maybe 55,483 as a guess. Wouldn't be surprised if they announce a record membership tally in 2 weeks.

They'll probably run a campaign after the bye focused around the 3-game membership and do it as a special deal to get into 3 of remaining 4 at GMHBA on a special price & hope that boosts the numbers

Can't help but feel it's a bit of a misrepresentation. We've got an interstate family membership, which allows 2 adults and up to 4 kids. We've only got 3 kids, but I got a phone call the other day asking if there were any other kids in my family that I wanted to add, free of charge, to our membership. I added my nephew, who is a Tiger's fan like his Dad, he's young enough that I'm hoping to sway his allegiance.

You've paid for 4 children though, I see no issues with it. And the easiest way to sway him is to take him to games and hope we win a couple more flags . My poor, poor brisbane lions friends....

I hear what you're saying, but why don't they just offer family memberships with up to 10 adults and 20 kids, and really rort the numbers?

Club PR and Marketing teams are clearly sitting on the 60k members announcement until a slow news days roll around, i'll predict its ended up at 60,130 or therabouts. That or there'll be an article about how we fell agonisingly short by 22 members

Hi fellow cats fans!

Was just perusing the cats website - we are closing in on a seriously impressive benchmark in members for our club. I think it is worthy of celebrating - to think a club like ours can have a tick under 60k members is amazing, and a testament to the commercial acumen that Cook and Costa instilled in us.
