Generally the teams that get a good jump on the rest of the teams and are the most successful start off with 3-4 uber-premiums. I'm looking at getting the new pig in, Titchell, as well as the previous pig, Rockliff. I think Rocky priced at 102 is too low not to take the chance on. If he plays anything above 60% midfield time, he'll be pumping out a 110+ average.

Starting with titchell, martin, kelly and Matt crouch as my top 4. With Gibbs at the crows Matt crouch should be top 4 scoring mid this season.
I like Angus Brayshaw at his price especially of he plays the role he did end of last season.
Looking for a big year from you Bradkli !! I wanna see those melts go to the next level.

Titchell, Zerrett, Adams, Rocky and Neale for me at the moment, not factoring in byes or anything yet.
I didn't worry at all about byes when I did my opening squad last year and it proved disastrous in one of the bye rounds. When I did my initial squad this year I was looking at a similar problem so I have made some changes.
Bye structure is now 6, 12 & 11. Will be able to reduce that 12 in round 13 by bringing in some round 10 & 12 players.

Well he went at 113 in a year some described at the best individual year ever. Hard to see him bettering that, and perhaps even matching it. He may average a touch or two less. I have him very close at about 110
His games up forward keep his average down a bit imo

Is he a serial -3 type too? That'd probably take a few off him also.

With you and Coots here too, have all intentions of starting with Titch, Zerrett and Rocky, then tossing up between Gibbs and Jelly.

I'm really interested in Gibbs, think he could have some absolute huge games for the Crows.

I had a look at Dusty, but noticed he was prettt inconsistent last year. Quite a few low scores. I don’t hate the Dusty pick but I prefer him as an upgrade target personally, if he has a couple of those low scoring games within two games of each other then you should be able to pick him up a lot cheaper.

I reckon he plays a bit more at half back next year and drops down closer to the 100 mark. And when he does play midfield he’ll be playing for a team with a much deeper midfield than the one he had at Carlton. I honestly think he’ll struggle to get within 10 points of last year’s numbers, let alone improve on them.

I see Adelaide as a real high possession team with a really good link up style of play, i think it will really suit him, can see him getting a lot of +6s. Also think they'll get themselves into more free flowing games and even blow out games, where he will throw up monster scores.

I don't see him sliding too far down Adelaide midfield rotations either, would have him basically on par with the Crouch boys and Sloane anyways.

Seb Ross anyone?
On my watchlist, but I feel Neale will outscore him, so going that way.

Macrae I'm considering too, but he'll likely score a few 80-90s and drop in price eventually, same with Treloar, so my thinking is starting with the high ceiling guys and hope they go big early on, then bring in a few consistent types at the right price as the year goes on.

Bont to play more midfield this year IMO, should improve + natural progression.

In SC his 2016 scores were inflated by weighting of moments.
Rumoured to be carrying niggles in 2017.

Not sure he's DT relevant but SC he has me interested

Bont will always be SC relevant, but it depends heavily on role with him for DT, he's very Fyfeesque with the way he scores imo.

If he played as a prime midfield accumulator and got 25-30 every week then he'd average 105-110 as his tackle and mark numbers with the odd goal would help his scoring, but I feel he's a 95-100 type at the moment as a 70-30 mid fwd, he'll have some big scores, then he'll have stinkers up forward and be a liability, like that Port Adelaide game at Ballarat that effectively ended our season. He will always average above 100 in SC imo and won't be able to get DPP as he's too good in that game, which effects DT positioning too. He'd have to have a shocker of a year to get DPP again, or be made as an absolute permanent forward.

Macrae is our one true Dreamteamer you can reply upon. He's a firm upgrade target for me, like Pendles and Treloar and a few others.

Armitage at 389k anyone?

I reckon there's a stack of cheap forwards and rookie forwards, going light up forward and big in midfield but having a few DPP forwards like Garlett in midfield as insurance could be the way to go.
He's in my squad as M6 ATM. Think he has the potential to go 90 - 95.
