2017 McGrath & Burton were the 2 standouts - could we be lucky enough to have Glass v Francis in 2018?? The entertainment value would be through the roof......

Witherden the favourite is no surprise, if he continues his 2017 form he'll be a huge chance.

Witherden will win it I'd imagine. The kid is a star.

Surprised Zac Guthrie isn't on the list, and that's despite his size.

WC really rate Venables. Will be given games for sure if fit. Haven't seen enough of him personally to really comment but looks like there's something there. Id have him better odds than Mutimer.

Witherden deserved favourite. Kid was crazy good this year.

Expected Jack Graham to be at shorter odds. The kid would of layed 500 tackles by the time the award is handed out.

Harry Morrison was very impressive in his only game for the Hawks (round 23). Clean ball user, appears to have a smart footy brain and knows where to run.

Clarkson is apparently a fan, so he'd be reasonable odds for a nom next year.

Reckon Josh Begley would be a smoky. Liked what I saw of him in the pre-season and the last few games of this year, looks like a pretty dynamic forward. Him and Witherden would be my favourites.

This time last year I was all over Burton and as much as I love Glass I'm backing in Witherden.

Glass and Morrison should get nominations at some point though.
