Imagine if it was a GC v GWS Grand Final, any tom, half the ground would be empty unless they threw it open to the public.
Today was never needed IMO, every person who went to the trouble to enter the ballot should've been given 1st dibs on a ticket well before any 2nd chance saloon was offered to GWS members.
To those who have bought tickets today, are you getting slugged an additional service fee or is it just the price of the ticket and that's it ?

Just the price of the ticket. RFC covering transaction fee apparently.

Swings and roundabouts. - It's cool that others who may never have got the chance to attend a GF will get to go now, thanks to Chokingwood!
100%They should have really opened a window of time before today's sale to allow original ballot ticketholders a chance to upgrade imo.
Gosh I hope I can get a ticket here!
Yeah I feel for ya.Which kinda means us balloted members got dudded. I'm MRC and got Cat 5. Others have rolled up today and got better tix, got to choose their Category and no fee
it's basically going to work out like that anyway, minus some scalpers purchasing GWS tickets in their allocation.Yeah I feel for ya.
What should happen IMO is the 34,000 tickets available to both club members should be split as a percentage to each clubs membership. i.e Richmond have 100k members and GWS have 30k members we should get allocated about 2/3rds if the 34k tickets or a bit over 20k tickets. GWS were never gonna sell their allocation.
AFL will never do it but it would be a much fairer system to long standing members and members who pay a premium.
