Someone asked before, I'd like to know too, are ticketek outlets open the public holiday Friday?

The one at the MCG near Gate 3 is usually open on the Friday. Be prepared for a long queue though.

Picked up probably one of the worst seats in the joint, right up the top next to the scoreboard, but I'm just happy to be going.

Okay, sounds excellent, and you can do the same towards the Ponsford stand end I guess? I need to link up my two siblings I bought tickets for in the 7+ consecutive member sale (managed to only get the two single standing tickets separately, couldn't buy a third for myself, missed out!)

Correct, you can exit to the ponsford end also. If the guy on the gate refuses to let you cross over, walk down into the seating area nearest the fence and jump over it. It's only waist height.

I stood in the Olympic stand in 2017. Got there about 10.30, stood at the fence. Lots of Adelaide supporters around, made friends with a couple of them and had a great day. Didn’t see them after 3/4 time though...

I bought a corporate ticket to this year's grand final before last week's prelim win over Geelong as didn't want to miss seeing the game live having been overseas on holidays when we won in 2017. My logic was I would be able to sell ticket in event Richmond didn't make the big dance. I have been a member for almost 25 years, but was nervous about securing a ticket in the ballot. Stupidly I thought Collingwood would win and tickets would be impossible to get.

I have since been given a ticket by one of my best mates and are now hoping to sell the corporate ticket.

I am negotiable on price, not expecting to receive face value.

You can also take a small fold up stool, get in when the gate opens, find your spot on the fence and chain the stool to it. Then befriend others, ask them to mind your stool, scan / pass out and join the festivities in swan street. Return in time for the game.

Went to Camberwell at 10 and waited 15 mins. Picked up a ticket I got in the 2:00 sale at 2:30 and waited 2 minutes.
