Dusty has to put mayo on everything.
If he does, he will get free kicks.
DeBoer will cross the line on several occasions. The media have basically placed GWS’s chances directly onto his shoulders, that kind of pressure will mean he will panic on several occasions and hold for too long, etc etc. Martin needs to milk those.

Geez our club is so mature and so well run.

Remember Brisbane coming out and screaming bloody murder prior to our final with them to watch for any unfair treatment on Cameron?

We could do the exact same about Dusty. Every week. But no. We stay quiet. We stay unassuming. We back ourselves to do the job. We don’t need any external help, we will get the job done.

Well if you look back they lost 5 of 6 when he wasn’t playing or something like that , since he come back from injury they started winning again .

Yeah hes crucial to the way they setup. Hes a campaigner of a tagger which is high praise, but, I'm of the belief that in this frame of mind Dusty is untaggable, add big game to the mix and he becomes a footy God. Im backing Dusty to have a huge game, Deboar or no Deboar

Interestingly watching Dane Swan talk about being tagged by Cameron Ling on 2011 Grand Final day. He put in an absolute stinker that day and Ling had his measure. Think similar could happen to Dusty and that's where Cotchin, Edwards and Prestia become so important.

I think De Boer will tag Dusty when he's in the midfiled and hand over to Corr/Haynes when he goes forward. When Dusty goes forward De Boer will roll over to one of Prestia, Cotch or Edwards. When Dusty is forward we have to isolate him as much as possible and kick it to his advantage...can't be sitting the ball on his head GWS will just intercept.

It'll be interesting to see what they do in terms of wingers. Perryman tagged Sidebottom last week and did a good job. GWS might look to try and tag 2-3 of our best players including Houli and hope that their other mids can impact.

After watching the VFL GF I was with most of you guys, lets bring in Pickett! Then after a few days I could understand why Ross is probably the right call. His the most like for like replacement for Graham right? But he hasn't played that much footy recently with his ankle injury... Then again neither did Graham in 2017 and that turned out very well.

After even more consideration the past few days, I actually think the right move is to bring in..... KMAC. Here is why.

- KMac to play his best suited role, defensive wing. Enjoy a 192cm beast smashing you all day Whitfield.
- KMac frees up Caddy to play his best position, Half Forward rotating on the ball. Another big body in the guts is warranted against GWS
- If Caddy spends time forward, Dusty spends more time around the pill. If Prestia and Dusty are in there it forces De Boering to choose one to go to.
- Having another 192cm player to assist aerially with long kicks up the line wont hurt either.

Ultimately by bringing in McIntosh we have much more flexibility with our 22. We get a better match up for Whitfield. McIntosh is a roll player, he wont get distracted by chasing the ball to pad his stats... Caddy might. It also gives us a more strong and powerful midfield with Caddy and Martin being able to attend more stoppages as a result. We know GWS's main strength is stoppage and clearance and if I know Dimma, he ALWAYS looks to take away the oppositions main strengths. This works best. I know KMac's form in the VFL has been fairly ordinary but I genuinely think he is one of those players that is more suited to AFL footy, especially on the large expanses of the MCG. Even before he debuted and destroyed an aging Judd he never really showed much at VFL level.

Anyway, to be honest I'm not sure there is a bad choice either way. If it is Ross then I'd back him in, same with Pickett. Whoever it is, they will be ready. Getting nervous now, carn the mighty TIGERS!!!!

I agree I think Kmac would give us the most flexibility and can plug a hole if needed.

He definitely makes them a better side. But their form running into finals was pretty meh.
Dusty has shown to be susceptible to tagging....but is in scintillating form as well. Gonna be a cracker
