Trade alert

Olma fc receive: Kyle langford, Drew future 1st round pick

Drew receives: Jack Steven, Jamie Elliott, olma fc future 2nd round pick

Orasia Fantazio to confirm
This trade is void, as Drew23 does not currently have picks in each of the second, third and fourth rounds of the future draft, so is therefore unable to trade his future 1st rounder.

You and Orasia Fantazio will need to re-jig the trade a little (drew needs at least a future third to be included etc.). I have had to do similar in the past, as have other coaches. I am sure you two can work something out!

Warriors open to trading out a depth forward for a future draft pick, or two depth forwards in a package for a centre or a back!

Surely somebody out there needs one or two handy forward targets? PM me if you have an idea.

I agree to the amendment from orazia.

Also wouldn't mind Unknown Caller looking at changing the rule to remove the restrictions from trading future picks...

This trade specifically orazia and I could have completed after the draft without any issues, so I question what value the rule has??

Agreed. With waiver picks through the year it also makes it less important for teams to nail their draft immediately as depth can be built through the year.

Yep, I'm fine with removing the rule restriction.

I would vote we book in the draft a well before any preseason games commence if possible? What are we really waiting for?

Wombats looking to clear list spots still. Guys on the trade block who would be fairly cheap - J Silvagni, J Hunt, C Maynard, Garner, H Dixon.

Also if anyone is looking for an extra 4th round pick I'd be keen to trade 52 and 57 to move up a bit or for a future pick since I don't have enough spots.
