Agent must already be already reserving his spot at the water trough for another big drink.

I believe its an extension on top of the 2 years he is already contracted for (4th year of his rookie contract + the 5th year option that has already been taken), so it is in effect a 6 year deal.

Be interesting to know when the guaranteed figure actually becomes guaranteed....take the guaranteed bit out "only" leaves $24M in salary.

Could he be cut before the expiration of his original rookie contract and never see a dime of the extension. I ponder this because they deliberately call it an extension, not a rework of the existing contract.
