no, your argument is stuck in the past (recent past) when trubisky sucked. But you can really see theres been a sudden dramatic improvement by him, hes become what they hoped, and theres still plenty of room for further development where he morphs into a qb who passes 40 times a game and throws 3-5 TDs a game.
as for allen, he is not a qb being hidden by the OC/playcalling (like trubisky in the past). where theres a level of liability and unreliability in their play, that they have to pound the rock, play exemplary D, and just preach to them that they dont turn the ball over, dump off passes to move the chains.
both the bears and bills have excellent Ds, and good rushing game, so theyre still both keeping to that tactical plan...but the qbs are no longer being hidden, theyre starting to come into their own.
like...russell wilsons first and second seasons ...he was slowly acclimating, game managing, relied on the D and run, and you could see a steady but slow progress with him. and then when it all clicked for him, he exploded, he became a qb that can take the offense on his shoulders.
trubisky and allen are on that same developmental progress trajectory.
****ing lol.
