Does anyone else get a cold chill run through them when they see an Adelaide Crows alert on their phone?

I'm expecting to see "Brad Crouch sidelined indefinitely with a foot/groin/hamstring/quad/glandular fever".

Luckily it's just Rory Atkins with a microphone at the team photo :p

No, the analogy is deliberately ludicrous. It’s about 2 guys with polar different roles competing for the same spot in the future.

Whether they have both played in the same team in the past is irrelevant.

Understand your defence of 1 st year players but when talking costs I was referring to trade costs as what was McGovern worth, but have to say we gave up a 1 st or 2nd round to get him. Just thought there would be more excitement around . Many other mature recruits will be playing 1st game although usually not in strong teams I understand . Personally liked Burgess as better option but who knows , but expect mature players to play some games 1st season that's why give up picks to do so., My thoughts anyway although might be unreal expectations.

Some experience and impact this year but won’t start first few games

Then can build next year and start to be a key player in his 3rd year

I feel he will make his way into side sometime this year but 10 games would be at expectation or above

then he will be going exceptionally well, Fog managed 10 games in a team that finished 12th a lot harder to break into a team that will be in the 8 unless you think we wont

I think we will , I think 10 games is the most he will play mind you and likely none of the first 5 or 6

Fog was 18 and this guy will be 24

He started the game as the main 'minder' on Robert Harvey. He was the one who put the hard tackle on Harvey that broke his ribs in the first quarter.

Remember mid 2017 when no one could get close to our style of play with precision ball movement?

Remember how teams worked how to stop it?

They won't be able to do that anymore if we can get our beat game going.
