I can't believe that people still think Tom Lynch is doing anything to stop FOG playing. You may as well say Eddie Betts is keeping Hartigan out of the side... Its just not in any way correct.
You do realize that the point of said analogy was its inherent weirdness right?Weird analogy considering that Harto has only missed through injury over more than the last 2 seasons.

Pick a mount, any mount. Go for one round or two. Voila! Instant plantar fasciitis!Just Mount Lofty???
Or any mount...
2,000 fans per goal...must bw doing something right. What kind of AFL “competition” would have a Grand Final played in front of 16,000 and a total of 8 goals kicked between the two teams to “entertain” the crowd.
Clearly a competition with no future.
No, the analogy is deliberately ludicrous. It’s about 2 guys with polar different roles competing for the same spot in the future. The analogy still needs to be based upon something remotely believable to have any value. Hartigan isn’t missing any games, the analogy doesn’t exist.
Patience my friendBicks one of my fav. posters but jumping at shadows lately mate.
Understand your defence of 1 st year players but when talking costs I was referring to trade costs as what was McGovern worth, but have to say we gave up a 1 st or 2nd round to get him. Just thought there would be more excitement around . Many other mature recruits will be playing 1st game although usually not in strong teams I understand . Personally liked Burgess as better option but who knows , but expect mature players to play some games 1st season that's why give up picks to do so., My thoughts anyway although might be unreal expectations.
I'm paid for the "likes" ......but that's ok given you're not that interested in what's said about the Crows on SEN ....but others mightHow much are SEN paying you for sharing all their tweets?
Patience my friend
Some experience and impact this year but won’t start first few games
Then can build next year and start to be a key player in his 3rd year
I feel he will make his way into side sometime this year but 10 games would be at expectation or above
I think we will , I think 10 games is the most he will play mind you and likely none of the first 5 or 6then he will be going exceptionally well, Fog managed 10 games in a team that finished 12th a lot harder to break into a team that will be in the 8 unless you think we wont
You recall wrong. Macca started hb but moved onto the ball in 1997 gf at half time. 1998 played most of the year as a mid

I'm not.I get a bit worried about our midfield defensively under this 6-6-6 starting positions.
