Yeh but if he goes before 11 we have to use that pick dont we ? and we get a later pick back if the discount is there like if he goes 10.
Yeah I agree. I wouldnt be surprised if we had Worpel top 20 in his draft year.I agree with what you are saying however i get the feeling that we often get players ranked much higher in our ratings than when we draft them. For instance, it wouldn’t surprise that we land a top 20-25 ranked player at pick 40-50. It also depends on our needs and list make-up too, something our list management professionals would have time to do as opposed trying to work this out in 10-20 min via an Internet forum! If this is the case, it doesn’t bode well for Finn unless we do rank him highly (Which is bleedingly obvious i suppose).
GW tried giving him credit yesterday but it fell on deaf ears. Bloke has no profile.
Think it comes down to what picks we end up having and the gap between our rating and the bid. If 30ish is our first, then Finn could be a steal if we rate him in the top 20, regardless of the bidI agree with what you are saying however i get the feeling that we often get players ranked much higher in our ratings than when we draft them. Exactly.who?
NopeI hear we’re into Papley now? He’d be a good pickup.
Nope
Is contracted for next 3 years. Will not happen unless we were to overpay.Of all the players mentioned here I'm really keen on Papley.
No injury history, the right age, great finisher and isn't a TOP line player so shouldn't cost the world in a pick trade.

Abasi's right, given his contract situation, I feel we'd have to give up our first pick for him (which is overs IMO).
Our 1st pick for Papley is about par as he's a quality player, but he won't be joining Hawthorn so it's a pointless discussion anyways.
Swans need the Blues pick for Joey now.Spot on.. not happening
In fairness, that's kinda our thing...Is contracted for next 3 years. Will not happen unless we were to overpay.

He's a jet.I’m in no way suggesting a first rounder for Papley but I’m surprised at the number who aren’t keen on him - I’m no fan but he is a quality player

Neither are on our radarI'd rather play a first rounder for Papley then sign Butler for free.
Only if other clubs are not interested in dealing with us.I have a feeling we r done will go to the draft
Yep, done and dusted. Got what we came for. Pick swapping will be our only involvement from here on inI have a feeling we r done will go to the draft
