I'm still waiting for people to own up to the Jed Anderson bet.

As I said a week or so ago, the idea that he would go from ZERO career votes to suddenly win the North count was nuts.

Sadly I went with Goldstein over Simpkin, so I didn't collect on that insight.

But with all the people in here now saying they made motzas on the Brownlow punt, where are the people saying they lost on Anderson?

Surely somebody must have been betting on him to have been listed as favourite on SB and elsewhere?
I’m not so sore that many people would have been on Anderson to win North votes. The bookies obviously had him in front on their counts and put him up favourite after r18. I’m not so sure that weight of money brought his price in.
Talking of r18, I am still wondering how on earth Sheed jagged 3v in the WC-North game. That got him to 11 and into a tie with Kelly to win WC votes. Certainly some funny votes dished out in the last round and that one was the biggest surprise to me.

I know the umpires have enough on their minds already in a game without also needing to be determining who's playing well but there are certainly some games where you just have to shake your head over their selections/non selections and that was definitely one of them. I was on Sheed so happy days for me but would've been pretty annoyed if I had been on Kelly in that situation for sure

Didn't realise this thread got re-opened.

I was happy with how the night went overall. Menegola and Fyfe hurt me in the team votes and Top10/Top20 markets.

Managed to get a profit largely out the 10+, 15+ market multis and singles on Simpkin, Marshall. The best profit I can think of since the glory days of the 2010 era

Well done to all the regular contributors on here this year, it was good fun especially with lockdown in melb.

Bring on next year!
