There is simply no correlation between where the club rates a player in the draft to where they land in the immediate best 22 of the side. That is quite simple. If you think otherwise, you're just bonkers. It really doesn't bother me if you listen to my claims or not, I know they're fact ( us rating Taylor in the 20s pre draft ) that is, obviously best 22 stuff is opinion.
You probably would have rubbished my claims about Stratton being captain etc also.

I certainly wouldn't rate many of your other claims.
Your reasoning that he's best 22 was that our recruiters supposedly rated him top 20 in the draft. That is my opinion I agree, I'm not saying that's fact.

I've provided you with stats that show current fringe players have performed better than him, let alone best 22 players.
What nonsense.
The difference in stats in that insignificant and the sample size that small that it’s hard to judge Morris v. Taylor.
Taylor would surely get games before Moore/Hanrahan etc. who are 3-4 years into the system and yet to make their mark though.
Young guy pleads guilty to belting his missus and has his footy career terminated.
Bigfooty: hey let’s get that guy to Hawthorn.
and none of that points to best 22.I assume you're one that rates Milne, Betts etc as far better players than Cyril then ? Just make sure you stay true to your word regarding stats.
I think Taylor has X- factor and lots of untapped potential, he played 4 games very early and was suspended. I think with groundwork and exposure he has a much higher ceiling than Morris and also Moore and Ollie who are what ? already 3rd or 4th year players ?
No criminal conviction and a measly $5000 fine though, not saying what he did was good or right, just saying I think he's a talent and people deserve 2nd chances and make mistakes.

I agree that people deserve second chances, but the dude imo needs to go through therapy and make reparations before I would hope any afl club would look at him again. No criminal conviction and a measly $5000 fine though, not saying what he did was good or right, just saying I think he's a talent and people deserve 2nd chances and make mistakes.

Charges get downplayed all the time for a heap of reasons, and I'm not convinced that his charges weren't impacted by the fact he's an AFL players.
Also, we're the family club. Can't call ourselves that if we're willing to grab a DV abuser less than a year after his arrest.
Hobart is a wonderful place to live.Sadly (for him) he is going to be wearing blue and white stripes and living in Hobart.

that means nothingHanrahan played the first 7 games and then we were raffling him, Minch, Nash and Moore. He’d have no trouble getting games.
Not everyone deserves a second chance.Being welcomed into a second club is less a second chance and more an admission that the acceptability of what he did depends on his ability to play football.
There’s a thing in clubs called culture, this guy is a cancer. Maybe you could let him date your daughterWholeheartedly agree he needs to go through therapy and address these issues.
HodgeyRoad would have no problem letting a woman bashing player from another club date his daughter. There’s a thing in clubs called culture, this guy is a cancer. Maybe you could let him date your daughter

You've got to genuinely be remorseful and atone for your actions first. The bloke hasn't been sentenced yet! And people still want him on the list.
that means nothing
Just saw he was yesterday. Punched her in the back of the head. He’s been sentenced.

He wasn't even best 22 at his previous club, who are worse than usThat would literally be his competition for a spot. I think it does
