Monday after GF I went straight to the merchandise sight as my 2017 signed guernseys needs a friend & I instantly fell in love with the "Richmond Reign" trilogy lithograph. Michaels, Sherrin are selling these Grand Final balls when the actual game ball had the Gold ‘Premiers 2020’ logo on them.
How can sherrin claim them as ‘genuine replicas’ when that obvious detail is missing??
For $300 I’d expect that important detail instead of the plain generic red AFL logo.........feel ripped......please explain.

Hey mate,

The ball is exactly as advertised.

It doesn't say its a game ball or a replica game ball, it says its the Grand Final ball.

The reason for the difference between the actual Game ball and the ones you see for sale is the AFL wanted a unique point of difference for the actual game balls and that alternate design was exclusively for the game only, not for sale.

Hence why its not advertised as a game ball.

Outside of the Gold badge both balls are the exact same leather, made the exact same way.

It has the grand final branding on it. I think the answer was justified, ask for a refund I’m sure they will honour it for you.

It has the teams, ground,date, telstra sponsor, all the usual GF ball info that never appears on the regular club game balls.

Gotta say it's a bit uninspiring..
They've literally just slapped two prints in a bigger frame!! Especially with the gradient on the prints looks a bit poor where they meet in the middle.. Even if it had a mat in there around each one it would look 10 times as good.

Or another idea, why not place the two panoramas top and bottom and have the photographs and writing meeting in the middle... Cheap campaigners!!

They're great prints though.. have 2017 and 2019 and hoping to grab 2020 too

I incorrectly thought you made the original post about being ripped off, my bad, nothing against Tenacious T either!

I was really close to getting the custom one and getting RICHMOND written on it! Not a bad idea, I actually preferred that to the GF ball (whether it’s the actual game one or not) but held back.... too many holes in the wallet!
