I don't disagree with you, but pick 33 doesn't do much for us given our list spots situation unless it lets us make another move. Maybe a future second.

33 would pay for Coleman while our pick in the 40s secures Cockatoo.

Alex Witherden straight swap for Jarrod Cameron both OOC 2022.

I'm pretty unbothered by a coleman bid pushing our future second back if it comes to it. So not really seeing the value of pick 33 there.

I should say this is on the assumption that even if we traded out witho we'd still only make 2 draft picks plus Fullerton elevation. I suspect if we trade witho we might give Hinge another year as cover.

Given how strong next year's draft will be, I can't see the club being as indifferent as you are with pushing back our second rounder in 2021.

There's no indication at all Cameron wants to leave WA (the opposite in fact!) and West Coast are short on small forwards. Ain't happening.
Other than media speculation, there has been no indication that witherden wants out either.

Not entirely sure Jarrod is as against the idea of moving here as some have suggested. Charlie has played it down because Charlie plays everything down generally in his media spots, but I'm pretty sure Jarrod was very open to coming here in the 2018 draft when we indicated to him we'd be bidding.

Seems unlikely that West Coast would let him go though for sure. I certainly wouldn't if I was in their position. He'd probably be worth a bit more than Witho to make it happen as well.

As for whether we'd find a way to fit both Camerons and Colemans into our team, we'd make it work. Don't think the club sees Blake playing up forward exclusively, Kiddy is more of a flanker than a pocket and could well move onto a wing, and Charlie can move up the ground as well.

He has already moved his furniture into storage and is away on holiday with Answerth and their girlfriends - I'd say Sammy is gone for sure. I read somewhere the other day he may be one of the delisted players across all clubs that could be picked up and the Bombers were a possible option for big man depth.
If he decides to stay in Qld I would think Aspley or Southport would be keen to sign him as they are the two stand alone clubs in the revamped VFL. Having said that it will be a bit of a list squeeze at those two clubs as I'm sure quite a few of the Redland boys will be trying to get a gig as well, think guys like Hammellman, Grewar, Rolls, Oxley and William. Will be interesting to see how that all pans out.

Not counting Cox, but counting Martin, Hinge and Daniher. Have Martin and Hinge been delisted?
Currently out of contract with no current offer in front of them.

As Noble said, we’re waiting on final list size before decidingif we’re keeping them or not.

Witho earning too much for a guy who isn’t firmly in our best 22.

I’d rather use that money to shore up an area of need.
And his value won't go up if he spends next year in the reserves.

The Eagles boys are saying their club doesn't normally leak information until they confirm they are 100% after a player. Without is currently away with the main group of players and their partners up North having a hell of a time. Unless the Eagles are actually waving huge money inform of him I just cant see him going west - if it had been a Melbourne club, maybe but unlikely also.

yeah understand - I was just counting them as still officially on the list until they get delisted. I guess what they’re really waiting for is how many players we bring in, and what draft picks we end up with and how many we want to use.

My gut says gornnnnn.

Clubs have known list sizes now for weeks.

Well then... someone should tell Noble either that or he was telling porky pies in this interview....

"The Lions are yet to guarantee veteran ruckman Stefan Martin a new contract as the club waits on list size numbers and a salary cap for 2021."
