Carlton's record against top 8 sides this year please.
Haha yep. That will clash with West Coasts road record.

Carlton's record against top 8 sides this year please.
Makes sense to me . They where horrible against the Cats and the 10 point margin flattered Collingwood .Thank you to someone who agrees with me in regards to Collingwoods ball movement.
Quote from Daisy Thomas:
"If there had been fans, there almost would have been riots in the stands. It was a genuine putrid display of football."
I hate to say this and the AFL has changed a lot of rules in the last decade or so, but there will be a time when kicking backwards won't be allowed in future.
I can definitely see it.
Is there anyway or anywhere providing the number of times a team kicks backwards? I know Kayo Sports last night had a stat on that........
Damn this is frustrating. It doesn't feel like a normal Monday afternoon if I'm not looking at the heat map of some random Gold Coast nobody to see if he's any chance of kicking 2 goals.
Adelaide -8.5?All over Adelaide -8.5 and swans -1.5
Kicking backwards forces opposing teams to press higher up the ground and create holes in behind the defence. Common soccer tactic.I actually don't blame the teams for kicking backwards either, its generally done to open up the fat side of the ground.
I think Matthew Lloyd and Blight suggested it should be play on if you kick backwards. Which I think is totally fair on both sides.
Less teams now more than ever are hardly going to go down the middle .
Took it when it openedAdelaide -8.5?
Ah, moved quick.Took it when it opened
reading reports in the day that Melbourne v Brisbane likely to be moved from Darwin to Giants Stadium. I think playing the game at Giants stadium should favour Brisbane.
Saints v Swans likely to move to SCG. Swans you would imagine would shorten a lot more given what I have seen on the exchanges.
West Coast from what I know have a terrible record at the SCG in their time there. They have a 3 win 16 loss record there. The dimensions and playing style is different to Perth Stadium.Didnt watch Carlton on weekend but from the scoreline -they gave a good fist of themselves.
Crows game moving to Sydney, lessens the home advantage but Crows are still playing better than the Pies.
Sydney is the winner of this round. Initially pencilled in for 0 games this week, but could get 4 fixtures this round.
Can I have 10k on scg?I'll have a stab at where the Saints v Swans game is due to be played tomorrow- before it becomes official tomorrow. I have compiled the odds:
Venue of Saints v Swans for Round 12:
SCG $2.22
Cairns $3.85
Marvel Stadium $5.26
Giants Stadium $12.50
Adelaide Oval $100
Perth Stadium $200
Canberra $200
Who is your money on?
I remember in the 90's they played the North Melbourne football club there as a Roos home fixture.I reckon the Eagles record at the SCG would be better than 3-16 if they got to play Carlton there on a regular basis
Cairns and the QLD government are in negotiations with AFL. I wouldn't write Cairns off just yet.Can I have 10k on scg?
Think a round swap is more likely with saint swans, think they play round 21 or somethingCairns and the QLD government are in negotiations with AFL. I wouldn't write Cairns off just yet.
But money talks in this situation. A Crowd of 30,000 guaranteed in Sydney guarantees ticket gate sales, NSW government more lax when it comes to border closures means Sydney is favourite............
But in saying that the crowds for the other 2 neutral games in Sydney were a tad dissapointing this weekend. 1,241 to see Hawks/Giants and 4,236 to see Richmond/Crows.
Could probably understand the Hawks crowd given they too are like Collingwood , playing $hit football and too much defensive stuff.
Staythis may be a bit of a silly question to ask but do Carlton stay in Sydney to prepare for the Eagles or do they go to Melbourne to be with their families?
wowwiiiiiiiiiiie nice.Stay
