Congrats to our fourth week winner fancyscum in a nailbiter!

Welcome to So You Think We Won't Clash! The comp that pretends it has a primetime timeslot but really is sitting casually on a weekday afternoon.

fancyscum has selected the Fremantle Dockers for Week 5 and their team colour is a lovely Freo Green

The Rules

  • You must build a single AFL kit for this weeks chosen AFL team using the specific colour mentioned above as the primary colour. This colour is chosen from all the colours ever worn by the selected team. Please try to stick specifically to the colour, as subsequent teams may use different shades of the same colour spectrum.
  • Only a jersey is required, but you are welcome to make a full kit.
  • The jersey cannot be an exact replica/recolour of existing or previous jerseys.
  • A winner is chosen by voting.
  • The winner of each week chooses the next team.
  • Please post your winning team choice along with your entry
  • Each subsequent team will use a unique colour to each team.
  • Standard AFL logo/sponsors and placement apply
  • Entries for this comp will run until Friday 12th of March (or Saturday morning if someone needs a bit of extra time)

Decided to go with wavy hoops inspired by a wave pattern featured in the Western Australian and Fremantle coats of arms. While the hoops may be atypical for a Fremantle Dockers design they serve as a call back to historic Fremantle clubs that have worn hoops (East Fremantle 1903-1911/1913-1922/1951-1963/1984-1996/2019-Onwards, South Fremantle 1916-1919, Fremantle Unions 1886-1893 and North Fremantle 1901-1902).

Inside of the collar is a red, purple and white tricolour throwing back to Fremantle's inaugaral jumpers.
Switched out Programmed Property Services for Gage Road Brewers (based just outside of Fremantle) as a sponsor because why not.

If Freo came in as the Mariners I'd reckon this would be a solid jumper. Really like the inspiration behind it too.
