Just didn't turn up in a home prelim. After losing a home prelim last year. Oh well that's understandable. Nothing to see here ..

They lost to a dynasty side last season* by less than a goal but this season*** they actually had an even biggest advantage compared to last season* by playing the Bulldogs at the right time in R23 to finish 2nd with other top 4 contenders losing key players to injuries. Then they still got the advantage of playing a cooked Geelong outfit in the QF and actually smashed them instead of Hawkins losing the game from poor set-shot and were the only team who didn't have to travel at all with the advantage of a home final when the other final team had to travel everywhere....even Cornes can't be that clueless.

This year they lost easily against Melbourne, Geelong and Brisbane - the other top 4 clubs by 31, 21, 49 points

Went 13-1 against sides out if the 8 in a very soft draw

Got Essendon early when they were playing sh*t, got Bulldogs late when they were playing sh*t, got Sydney and Giants when they had to be in hubs for weeks (Sydney should have won that game if Franklin kicked that set-shot and then Mayes and Lycett become their hero kicking goals, what is the odds of that happening again).

Port are never just good at something, we're always told they are the best at this, they've got the best that, on field and off field, always the favourite, can't lose.

Another record breaking finals loss? Something else they can add to the list of things they do so much better than everyone else.

It's all smoke and mirrors and they'll never do anything about it because they are way too addicted to the good publicity.

This loss will be quickly covered up by the Port media mafia and they'll go into next season as the premiership favourite, by a long way.
