I think it's been mentioned before but I hope it's not any of our players who have yet to debut, apparently it is counted as a game even if you don't get on the field, what a let down it would be if parents etc came for the game and he didn't get on the field. Imagine being the 23rd player all year, not playing too much but getting your AFL match incentives (which a few of the younger guys and fringe players are usually on, with a lower base pay), sounds like easy money, but being professional athletes would get pretty pi..ed each week sitting on the bench.
