BS excuse, more like they dont want to put Fields out there vs the Rams in his first game behind a shitty oline.

The point means nothing when youre talking dropped catches, you dont forget how to catch a football inside 2 years. Route running and nuances like that sure, but its a bs excuse for dropped passes.

Some of his drops have looked like its because he is about to shit himself because of contact. he looks afraid of getting hit so is already thinking of making them miss and doesnt catch it

Its not BS. I was watching both his games, he has very basic/simple presnap recognition skills. Its still too much for him. Better off starting Dalton, try to win some games, and then when hes actually ready (cos hes a little slower to develop than Lawrence, Jones, Wilson), and that isnt a knock. Some are a little slower

Very happy. Great communicator and motivator, not your usual college coach in respect to he doesn't come off arrogant or thinking hes the smartest bloke in the room.
