The trouble with Robertson is he picked up JBerry's role last week. Which he did a good job of, and deservedly keeps his position, but also Berry is back this week. The only clear best-22 players we now have out are McStay and Rayner, so having survived this week he's certainly a chance to stick around, but what his role will be remains to be seen.

I actually don‘t hate the move. Daniel has been underwhelming the last couple and now he plays Brisbane who don’t give up massive points to defenders.

However, sanity has prevailed and I’m playing the longer term game. If Meek goes out for Sunday‘s game and I cop a donut then what have I really lost... 50 points maybe? Not really a season killer. Sticking with a double downgrade at this point.

Could trade Young -> Robertson by swinging clark back to defense to plug that hole.

THen leave 1x trade free for sunday incase meek is dropped.

Which I could then trade meek -> Treacy (gross).

If he keeps his spot, then I wouldnt have many moves left I could do. Maybe Clark up to Scrimshaw. Thats about it.

I can just imagine I'll do that though and Clark and Meek BOTH get dropped.. meaning I cop a donut regardless. Whereas I can currently easily cover the Clark donut where he currently sits in the midfield.

Daniel is averaging 95 - so still a top defender - no need to rush him out at this stage. if it's wet tomorrow, we'll like the ball in his hands to hit targets - the challenge will be getting it to him...

Yeah but he was also playing as the fatside winger. He played terribly from a fantasy perspective, but I think he was also playing his role in the Geelong team. His goal was a great piece of play that surely keeps him in the team with Higgns out.

Exactly this! Skipping could mean missing out on a supremely good rookie and all the scoring and cash gen that comes with him. On the flipside, he could royally **** anyone getting him by getting dropped next week
