Ok - I think (like for most of the season), I'll have to wait a week to take advantage of the new DPP's, as I have a bit of a mess.

Daniel comes back in - pushes Burgess out to D8

Wicks - Macrae
Butters - Dunkley

Means Dunkley and Daniel in from last week - but one of Campbell, Scott or Macrae needs to play in F6 for a week. Frees up 128K for next week as well. With a downgrade of Meek , I could then upgrade a Phillips/Stephenson to a Treloar next week - while shifting Dusty forward.

As a Dogs man can’t imagine how it would have been watching your games without having Dunks. Why did you do that to yourself!

We put so much effort into our planning & trade strategy ....only for those plans to be scuttled by innocuous injuries that ruin the round

However remember, this week it affected your round .....next week it'll affect another Coach ....so we're all going to have rounds impacted by a De Goey, or a Howe moment .....or dare I say Flynn
In the darkness there is light ......from despair comes opportunity

This week, do we see Witherden as a longterm DEF investment ? ......Flynn will obviously be back .....Macrae comes into my side
Do you select Marshall, knowing his Ruck partner is also on the cusp at St Kilda ......talking of which, surely Highmore gets another opportunity this week

Have only had a few injuries thus far, but belted this week. I've seen people talking about stress involved with this game; not much point getting that wound up about it. It's out of our control and completely random. My feeling is that one year I will have the necessary lucky run and I will have a great result. In the meantime, shit will happen.

Time to start getting risky, and make some real bold trades. Will hold Clark and Fanta as they're scoring ok in the case of the former/not losing me money in the case of the latter.

Only dropped 133 places and scored 1895 overall, so given the awful awful round I had, reckon it could be a lot worse that it was.

Downgrading Jordan allows me to keep Flynn on my bench who when plays will make cash easy. With rookie options so limited and cash gen drying up I think he’s a must have if he can play the next month now . Unfortunately in doing this I’ll have to field Berry.

Dropped a heap of spots the last couple of weeks but keeping Daniel and copping a donut from Flynn this week means I now only have the 4 rookies on my field in Gulden, Warner, Jordan and Powell.

Now in a position that most of my rookies have enough coin to go traditional down/ups each week and make my team good fast!!

Pretty easy Sunday night rage trades for me.

De Goey -> Titchell

Means I'm rocking 8 rookies on the field now up from 5 in my starting side. Mid pricer strategy definitely failed again this year. Only Hind remains from my original midpricers and Markov as an early trade in.

I said during the match thread - sometimes I overthink things - and think I'm being too Dogs centric, as I watch their games more closely than others.

So when Danger went down, I thought - perhaps I'm too bullish (excuse the pun) on Dunks here - I'll go to Dusty. Who hasn't been terrible - but not at Dunks level sadly....

Did a similar thing this week with Phillips out. Flynn on-field looks so good but I just reckon the head-ache ain't worth it. Gawn's the best performing premo out there atm as well.
