okay if it turns out we really can move the markets on this board, then it is time for a private message group

the invitees should include only the best and most amusing punters from this board

I like this as a potential idea for next year if it’s not too exclusive. The members being like 50 of us who contribute some/most weeks would be ideal, heck even more than once a season, otherwise it kinda leaves one half here and one half there. But the proper full time lurkers would obviously be left out which would be a win for us, a lot of whom probably don’t even have BF accounts.
At the end of the day it’s a public forum and we should know what to expect, but it does also effect us financially. It’s not just lurkers who move odds but it would defs allow the regs to get a better price more often.

From memory, and I could be wrong here, but the guy who initially posted the Ziebell tip earlier in the year wasn't a regular. Just someone who popped in and mentioned the training report. This is where a private board could go awry... you never know who you're excluding.

according to said rumour the message group began with a tip about flanders paying $2.50 / $12 / $51 for ags / 2+ / 3+ in rd 14

word on the street is that flanders kicked 2.1 in that match

apparently the tips in that group since then have been hit and miss but it has still been fun to be a part of

i hate feeling like im missing out on something, in fact fomo is half the reason why i bother tailing bets on this board in the first place

Most of the obscure bets people post here will literally only take a bet or two to have the odds crunched in. If your bet isnt the one that moved it then chances are its another degen reg on here lurking that will get in before the randos anyway

Yeah pretty much. Plus having a private group will come with the same issues. As people tail the bet, the odds will get crunched.

Bottom line: Always make sure you've already placed the bet before posting it in a forum or any other group
