speculative punt on Matthew Kennedy, if mckay is out think he may play some more forward time, remember him doing it last year and kicking 3 goals @ big odds for me. Nfi if this will happen but im rolling the dice, also its north so he could score 2 from midfield as well lol

2/3/4/5 on SB

7/31/121/1101
Gotta hope Kennedy gets named to play first.

I didnt watch Freo v Carlton on the weekend, but Kennedy was an out.

Pickett3+4+ @6.50,19. SB he's let me down in the past, But I reckon he gets a few this week, Hes kicked multiple goals against the Hawks the last few times he's played them.

H

Has hit 20+ in 3 out of 69 career games FYI
Yeah, but he's been stuck forward for most of those. Brisbane are trying to introduce him into the midfield rotations and his heat map from last week would suggest he's playing all across the ground. For $9.5 odds I'm willing to find out if he reproduce what he did on the weekend.

Brodie Smith 20+d, 25+d @1.78, 4.10 SB
Only 18 last week but got 28 a fortnight ago, And got 30 a few weeks ago. Worth an each way bet.

Multi 1u McKay 5+ Curnow 5+ ($33, sb)

Multi 1u McKay 4+ Curnow 4+ Larkey 4+ ($112, sb)

Curtis 0.5u each 4+ 5+ ($51, $201, sb)

Edited to add:

1u Curnow 6+ ($11, tab)

---

I'm not sure if you fellas quite understand the significance of McKay being out of the team.

He played every match last season. He's the linchpin of the back six.

Without him, we're left with Walker and Corr to try to man McKay and Curnow.

I have always liked Walker's attitude but he is an emergency key defender at best.

As in, the guy you go to when one of the two starting KPDs are injured (and your shelves are empty).

Curnow is far too agile for Walker, so I guess he goes to McKay. McKay is also too agile for him.

Corr is a good player but should be a third tall at most. Now he will have to mind Curnow (or McKay).

North simply does not have the matchups for either of Carlton's key forwards.

No Tarrant + No McKay = woeful woeful backline.

If Carlton get on top in the midfield* it will be a circus of a football match.

*Which they should, because North's midfield is terrible without Cunnington.

Somebody is going to kick a bag. Maybe a number of guys will.

tailed mckay/curnow/larkey 4+ @ $94

also all 3+ @ $11.50

Stringer 6+ @ $100 b365. Was basically permanent forward against Collingwood only attending the occasional CB. Ended up with 3 goals but also missed a couple that were gettable. Dogs backline is atrocious with Keith still out injured, so it wouldn't be a shock if Stringer (or Wright) kick a big bag here.

Been opposition 2 main forwards last couple of weeks. I'm going to chuck in a small forward rather than need both McKay and Curnow get big bags.

Not sure what sportsbet know that we don't.

Curtis kicked four goals in the VFL to earn his spot in the seniors.

Then kicked 1.3 against Geelong when his team were getting spanked.

Was easily North's most dangerous forward throughout the match.

The red spot on his heat map from the game is entirely inside 50.

No reason to think he won't be playing purely forward again this weekend.

Sportsbet offering $4.10, $13, $51 and $201 for 2/3/4/5

Surprisingly juicy.

Curtis 1u each 2+ 3+ 4+ 5+ ($4.10, $13, $51, $201)

Only needs to kick two goals for this one to break even. The rest is gravy. Very juicy gravy.

With Pittonet out, there's a chance North could smash the ruck contest and win their fair share of football.

I expect North to get well beaten but Curtis will have his chances.

Awesome. And gives me a reason to watch this game

The 2+ goals on sportsbet are absolutely shocking this week... Feel like they have been burnt a fair bit this year

They're about to get burned again when the Curtis Train goes:

McKay under an injury cloud, I doubt they'd play him

also 3+ Goals Paul Curtis, 3+ Goals Alec Waterman @ $78 (Sportsbet). Same bet at TAB would only pay $30
