Geez, deep midfield. I like it. Are you confident of getting the rookies in other lines?
As confident as you can be .....Comben I think plays , De Koning and Paddy McCartin both interchangeable with FWD / DEF status ...Charlie Dean

But we won't know till R1 selections on Pedlar, O'Driscoll, and others ......I'm relying on my "utility" to cover a lot of bases in all zones, it was fantastic for me alst season

Could you have both Brayshaw and Serong in your team?
Im toying with that

To get Gawn in

Mitchell Brayshaw Neale Lipinski Serong Rowell

Depends whether it's better

Crouch or Rowell

Then use the extra cash to get in Gawn

Tom Joyce back at the Eagles after we picked up a few midfield injuries on Friday. Wonder what he'd be priced at?

Ive now caved in and gone Gawn and Grundy aha.

But means i now have 730k to spend on a mid, not sure which one to go. I have Brayshaw, so not sure if I want both Brayshaw and Serong. But open to suggestions for a mid at 730k or less
Consider Tim Kelly at around 700k. Having a ripper pre season, and with all of West Coast's injuries he is going to be the main man in their midfield.

Not sure who you already have, but here's some names around that price or less that I like:

  • Serong
  • Cerra
  • Cripps
  • M Crouch
  • Lipinski
  • Dangerfield

Could also mean he cops a heavy tag each week.

Who am I
Priced at 94
Experienced player
Have averaged over that 6 times before and known for some massive scores.
Lots of injuries in midfield so I will get a bigger role and scoring, but still not number 1 tag option.
Pretty soft draw to start the season.

Don’t do it, don’t do it, don’t do it.

What's his ceiling though 105? Still not enough there I think

Can't be picking players around 800k who won't be near the top 8

We often get lost in the bright lights of what players could average and forget about durability which is just as important. Great article covering the most durable players of the last 3 seasons

This is the biggest reason why Crisp sits at D1 for me right now

God hearing Mills is back in full training. So tempted to start my team like this, just love the way it looks.

Of course you couldn't, ah well Jack Steele will do

Do we think Dunstan will get games this year at the Dees?

He didn't go there to not be selected when he coud have done that at the saints did he?

I don't understand why Essendon didn't go after him

Well he's not even in the 30 listed players for tomorrow's game against the Blues, and he's not injured.

I believe he's been put on a specific training regiment in order to play a role. Same thing that Ben Brown went through last year. Dunstan will have to earn his place in the team.

Wasn’t it more so a case of simply no other club wanted him so Dees took him as a freebie/backup?

From memory neither SA club were interested, Saints cut him and other offers were bone dry. Either stay on an AFL list at the Dees and possibly not play any games or not be on any list at all.
