Luke Strnadica is firming for a spot on West Coast’s list, according to former Eagle Karl Langdon.

The former Fremantle Dockers rookie, who failed to play an AFL game in his two years with the club, is believed to be in a good position to land a supplemental selection period (SSP) slot.

Langdon believes the 203cm ruck-forward will gain another AFL chance with Adam Simpson’s Eagles.

“I’ve got it on fairly good authority that Luke Strnadica will be signed by the West Coast Eagles,” Langdon said on Sportsday WA.

“I know I’ve speculated about this that he would be one of those guaranteed spots. I’ve always felt they are a little bit thin in the ruck department with Harry Edwards being thrust into that role at training.

“You would think that Strnadica, even though he’s been limited in the last few weeks with a foot injury, will get one of those two available spots.”

Flagged this months ago. He is 100% being signed, but is currently in a moon boot. Has stayed at the club even though he's been injured the last few weeks. Apparently it's only minor though. Will be interesting to see what they price him at. For reference, Dittmar who started his training block at the same time as him hasn't been at the club for over a month, and Joyce was straight out of contention when he was injured training with us.

Another glowing review about Finn Maginness being a breakout player at the Hawks this season - this time by none other than the Pig himself, Tom Mitchell. (On latest Traders podcast) 311k MID/FWD.
Question is Rayner Stengle Rioli Gunston and Maginness at over 270k wonder if you can go with one or two

Never played for Freo and was a rookie so 170k

If they price him any more than 190K they are having a laugh

James Tsitas MID $190k
Will be an interesting watch ....my initial impression is of a James Rowe type ....I mean at 26 yo, he has deficiencies, will they impact his potential AFL career .....apparently a gritty combative type

Does this mean he is getting Michael Gibbon’ed?

Dominant state league accumulator who gets his opportunity…. To play as a small forward.

Roughead has shoulder surgery

Collingwood defender Jordan Roughead has had shoulder surgery that is expected to sideline him through the earliest rounds of the upcoming season

Could be relevant to Charlie Dean

From kangaroo fan reports or neutrals?
Those kanga fans love announcing their kids are the next best thing.... I distinctly remember half a dozen of them trying to sell us on LDU last year. No doubt JFH will be special though but got to take it with a grain of sale I think

For those contemplating loading up on the midfield rooks, these seem the most relevant of the premium ones;

JHF, Daicos, Ward, Erasmus, Goater and MacDonald.

How many of the above do we think could get DPP? JHF & Erasmus forward and Goater def?
Hobbs from Bombers as well I think
