Pretty much all the good teams started with Whitfield. I'm sure some have traded him (prior to his injury I mean) but not many. Most would have also started with one of the big three (Steele/Touk/Macrae). So, in short, yes.

Was waiting on Steele to price drop as he has slowish starts to the season usually (was only a recollection), so Macca was my only start of that three, but got Touk a few weeks ago. Was a shame to see Steele go down, but glad I dodged that one.

McCartin's 73 is on par with what I expect Daicos to get, so happy to keep Whitfield and upgrade Daicos.

Now its just a matter of Macrae vs Petracca for Steele.

Supercoach article said 7 for the round 12 DPPS, obviously a different system though

I don't trust a single thing associated with Supercoach so i'll wait and see.

Early weeks trades and planning had Treloar over Taranto for byes, upcoming draw, break even and whatever else I carefully laid out, i can't remember exactly, so I've brought in T.T today instead of Treloar.
The hell with planning right...

T.T surely doesn't go under 100 AGAIN, that'd be 6 weeks in a row after starting with 4 tonnes.

New coach, crap opposition, fellow bull in Petracca dominated WCE, low last 5 etc.
Perfect storm for a 130+

Also taking a punt on Serong for low break even and r14 bye.
Will swap to Walsh throughout byes if my lack of planning plan works out.

Now I can understand in AFL Fantasy why substitutes are so important and obviously keeping up with teams news and all.

In the past , not treating AFL Fantasy that seriously, used to think by deadline there wouldnt' be any more work needed once teams are locked in.
