I actually think he was going for the ball until the last split second when he saw Rowell and turned to protect himself.
Pickett would have killed Rowell most likely.

Didnt think Baker had that many CBAs. Hoping he continues to get those CBAs for this round and beyond. Baker and Ward were the 2 players in my team that i was least happy with last round. I thought Baker played an absolute shocker and was almost lucky to score 61. A bounce back round is hopefully on the cards or i will be tempted to move him on to Sicily or Young

I've got Baker and TBH, unlike many players I think it's actually a scoring disadvantage for him to play so much midfield, his A-game is outworking and out-contesting HBF's. He was close to 50 until Prestia went off injured, then scored ~10 for the entire 2nd half playing mostly mid.

He's not a big unit and he struggled against the bigger bodied Carlton mids. This week we play GWS, so it could get worse, unfortunately.
