His manager is also his brother in-law so you'd expect him to play that stuff down, especially in a contract year. The main take from a SC/Fantasy perspective is that he is cleared to play and won't be missing any pre-season or H&A games. Moreover, going by what Coach Macrae said yesterday they've put the saga behind them whilst wanting to see a better version of JDG going forward, which is fair enough and expected.
As long as that version of him going forward….is not actually him playing forward….🤪

Must admit the thought of Fyfe crossed my mind the other day .....seeing pictures of his hulking physique .....but I got it out of my system

I heard from an ESS mate Walla's over-weight well rounded .....suspect he's been told to go away and work on his motivation for AFL

Does this open up a spot for Lord ?

Can confirm that Josh Rachele has tested positive for Covid. He went home for 4 days and then after he returned, found out his brother was positive.

Their forward line operated without Walla for a large part of last season. Lord is a running defender that would likely get a chance if Hind copped an injury. If he continues to impress playing forward he may force the decision to play him early (this year being early) as a forward, maybe concentrating on shutting down dangerous small defenders. Walla not being around does help his cause a bit yes.

This from the SCS site
New Sydney co-captain Callum Mills has declared his recovery from a “fickle” achilles tendon injury is on track but he will be eased back slowly into skills training.

Doesn't matter to Cogs @ $261k, he'll still score well for his price as long as he stays fit. Makes the Butcher Taranto even less appealing.
I think it makes Taranto more appealing as an upgrade target.
When Punchable gets back.
Hopefully he tanks his price while forward.
