Need to wait for the final squads tbh.. heap of yellow dots on the bench which i need to turn green before final choices can be made

Was set on trades and his name just popped up for me too as a way to get Sinclair without playing the extra rook.

Why am I considering a guy I’d never even heard of before? What even is this season.

Recent form is good, that's why you are considering him, you are a form master, oh and you a ****ing desperado, but we quibble about terms......... 🤣

Crisp vs Jake Lloyd for Hew replacement?

Crisp better season overall vs Lloyd better form..

Vlaustin, Dale or Cumming dark horse picks

I'd back Lloyd.. Crisp been pretty underwhelming for a while and doesnt have the ceiling Lloyd can go especially late in games if the Swans are up by a bit which is a chance given their upcoming run

Pretty locked in with Whitfield to Crisp. Can’t deny 14/17 90+. Trade 2 depends on the Hewett news. If he looks like he’ll be back, will hold and loop Wehr/Burgoyne and do Witts to Marshall, otherwise probably turn Hewett into Brayshaw

FML no idea what to do now. Have Coleman, Kelly and Hewett all out. Happy to ride Carmichael for Coleman for a week, but it now makes me quite tempted to do:

Kelly > Warner
Hewett > Dawson

Feel like that's a massive risk in midfield though.

Wouldn't touch Dawson this week.

Has been sick during the week + will be tagged by Ryan Clarke if he plays

Who do I go in defence then? Have Doc, Crisp, Sinclair, Naicos, Hewett and Sic.

You could still go Dawson if you want. Just accept if he's tagged his ceiling is probably a 90 this week and it could be a 60-70

Otherwise I'd go Lloyd based off form

This is the pain especially with ****ing Coleman out. If it was just Hewett I could flick Coleman back for a week and play Carmichael. Just the most infuriating combo of injuries as there's no one I'd want for next week. If D'Ambrosio is named might just roll the dice on him.

The worry with Crisp is his role has changed since earlier in the season and since almost being out due to personal reasons about 4 weeks ago his form has been trash. So something is going on.

Plus high ownership means you gain points elsewhere if his form doesn't turn around. Depends if you want to play it safe with ownership or go higher risk higher reward

This would be a good week to loop rookies to figure out what trades to do. Except every potential playing rookie I have, apart from Soligo, are playing on Sunday.

Redman for a real POD ?? Essendon playing much better, playing Pies this week who give up points and has a L3 average over 105 ppg.

I looked last week, but depending on how teams fall I might give it a go...

But my sides ****ed anyway....

My other option is roll with D'Ambrosio this week to have Hewett back next week, and upgrade Coleman to someone like Baz Smith. Annoying that Marshall is in doubt too as I could have brought him in and shifted him to ruck next week for Cameron / Sean Darcy.

I guess I can have a look at final teams tonight since none of Coleman, Hewett, Kelly, Warner, Redman and Marshall/Baz are playing tonight so I can decide on which way I go.

If DAmb plays - think he may sub
I'm looking at looping DAmb/Parnell/Hough to Hewett so I can boot Cripps

Guess I'll see what final teams are. There's just no appealing defence option.

****ing hell, not only did Mrs SM come up with a brilliant trade last week to cover for Oliver - she went Soligo to Oli Florent and got his great score - she can now flick him into defence to cover for Hewett.

Really like Warner, think he is a gun of future making, and was going to gte him after the byes but then went on a 68, 85, 83, 59, 82 run. With FWD status I may have risked it, but with sole Mid status - just couldn't. Will probably roll the dice on him next season and hold as long as possible. He's had 7 tons this year and a shitload of mediocre scores including some 50's against Port and WC. Buyer beware maybe?
