There’s a delete team button?!?!

I wish I had have known that earlier in the year :moustache:

Next year is our year bud - and if it isn’t, we’ll melt TOGETHER!

Oh yeah, I've already been planning for next year and writing notes down for 2023 in my laptop notepad.

I avoided trading in Darcy the last 5 or so weeks thinking he would get injured as soon as I traded him in.

Ironic that he is one of the few that is playing every week.
Would anyone have picked Witts as the number 1 ruck ? Screw that.
No way i;m buying Darcy for same reason...though its tempting just to see the melts when he gets instantly murdered.

Next season is going to be hard to pick an R1 and R2 I reckon.

Will probably go Gawn again and maybe Darcy or English but they won't play 22 games.

Yeah probably will start Gawn and Darcy I reckon.

Good call on Daicos, will add him to my team list for next year.

Yep, NickyD's gonna be a solid exception to the 'avoid 2nd years' rule
Yeah nahhh.
Stick to the golden rule...never buy anything collingwood.

Though Maynard looks like he's turned the corner and could be a handy D7 for the price.
Yeah nahhhhhhhhhh....collingwood.

I don't think anyone has escaped the ruck carnage this year, it's been brutal.

So far this year I have had these starting ruck combos.

Gawn Marshall
Jackson Marshall
Jackson Preuss
Witts Preuss
Witts Gawn
Witts English
Witts Cameron

I also had Hayes and Teakle filling in during the byes who have bitten the dust too.

Yep, it’s all on the ruck thread.
I‘m up to 12 for the season.
13 if you include English twice…….

Just checked I've done 6 ruck trades not as bad as I thought actually

The Pendlebury trade still haunting me. Back in R8 I needed defender. Tossed up between Pendles and Dawson. Chose Pendles he was in great form. Tonned up nearly every week so far and Dawson was good but lots of 90s. Since that point Dawson has outscored him by 342 points! (Includes 82 from SDK the week Pendles was out) Also 180k more expensive than Pendles.

Currently ranked 570. Would be 121 if I'd just chosen Dawson.

If he gets FWD status next year Bont is an absolute lock.

Himmelberg feels a bit flavour of the month to me, who knows what his role with the new coach will be. Unless we get absolute confirmation (remember this is the Giants) I don’t love it.

Darcy worries me, feels like he’ll just be a constant injury worry, at this stage I’m thinking set and forget two of Gawn/English/Witts.

I don’t know if go cheap in the forwards is the lesson, I think more so it’s upgrade that line last, I think we’ve seen this year that people who had completed forward lines before round 12 have had problems as all of a sudden they had players like Bont who are borderline must haves with nowhere to put them.

All of this except you must replace Pendlebury with Zorko.

And instead of having a rank differential of 570 > 121 it’s 5700 to possibly somewhere inside the top 2k.

Haha. Ha. ****.

1 effing player...it's amazing what 1 player can do to your score if you get it wrong.
Dawson - 865 points since R9 (I’m bereft of coffee, don’t check my math)

Zorko - 390 points since round 9 when I traded him in and before his scintillating 6.

He’s made the list.

I’d be ranked somewhere around the 1200 mark as opposed to 5284 :tearsofjoy:

English is just as injury prone as Darcy now. Witts can't do anything else but tap the ball out. If he's not doing that then he struggles to score well.

That's what I meant with going cheap with the forwards so I can upgrade that line last once I know who the standout forwards are after round 6 of the first DPP changes.

Agree with you on Bont. If he is a forward then will pick him. This is CD the kents though so he probably won't be.

The difference between English and Darcy though is that Darcy is prone to sub 75 score fairly often whereas English appears to not be. I think it’s a bit like the Dunkley pick this year, the injury risk is offset by the almost guaranteed scoring.

That being said a lot can happen between now and round 1 next season.

Had a hiatus last year due to shift work and the biggest reason that I wont possible wont play again next year is having to constantly be on an App /Pc to keep up with changes subs. Thursday games are not good for super coach and work / life balance.
One possible solution could be an I f**ked up button. This could be used for I forgot to put "E" on someone I didn't realize was a late out etc.
Would have to make sure its not abused to be able to change Capt/Vc. Just for genuine mistakes.
Eg: didnt realize someone was out on one line but had an interchangeable emergency on another line.

Rookie cash gen dead this weekend
Rosas -8
Curtis 38
Wehr 38

Super annoying as I was trading Rosas all week but with Parish injury had to hold. Now the Kent will lose 30k and limit my upgrade options.
