First time playing with a taxi squad, can someone explain how it works over the offseason/draft? Essentially can I leave some players there instead of cutting them?

First time playing with a taxi squad, can someone explain how it works over the offseason/draft? Essentially can I leave some players there instead of cutting them?

Taxi is only during the season, hoarding rookies you have your eye on, giving you a year to assess whether theyre worth keeping.

So when the 2024 fleaflicker season officially starts, all the taxi and injured reserve players are forced onto the active roster, ineligible to be on taxi anymore (no longer rookies). So you will now have tough decisions to make....selecting a max 26 keepers from what is now about a 40 man roster.

Everyone will be forced to choose 26 keepers, in the lead up to the 6 round draft. So in 2024, you will be able to populate the taxi squad with the new 2024 rookies.
