Team set. It’s a shambles. Deandre Swift interest any?

If you can put a money back guarantee on him not getting injured for the rest of the season im very interested.

Hes looked amazing, wouldnt blame someone for taking the risk at all.

I thought the rules had changed and we had to re-set our limeup each week due to some sort of convoluted anti-tank measures? Or was it the opposite haha?

Also how am I 0-3? 😅

Yeah, I think youre right and I was wrong. GG sets the lineups if you havent.

And don't worry about the wins LennyHayes77 I'm sure they will come given shiny_on_top and Dixie Flatline are in a race, selling everything, to get Marvin Harrison JNR this early in the season. 😅

I should probably do the same given I always end up in the worst spot, just missing the playoffs and drafting 7th or 8th. Just like the NFL in real life. You get nowhere and are stuck in mediocrity

Yep, the rule changed, the lineups go back to zero starters at the completion of a week, and i submit any empty lineups on thursday night....which people can update after ....but i just forgot to do it thursday night, was very sleepy and preoccuptied.

Statistically and generally, very hard for defensive players to consistently impact a game week after week.

Most commonly its LBers with tackles, like 10 a game, maybe a TFL, around 16 pts say. Like bread and butter offensive players like a QB, RB WR with their regular easy-getting stats.

More difficult for down linemen to consistently get big stats/pts....Aaron Donald, Maxx Crosby, TJ Watt, JJ Watt, Jonathan Allen, Chris Jones etc types, where its only like a sack or two, some extra hurries/hits, a TFL or two. Beastly effort really given the positions they play are not conducive to consistent stats.

For a player to get 5+ sacks in a game, plus 10 tackles and multiple other things like PDs, Hurries etc is very rare (only three times in NFL history). But its a mamoth effort, actual great ability/work put in by a great player to get such....not like say a bad CB getting targeted constantly by a pass-heavy offense with a stud WR, or a LB racking up 18 tackles because the DL is shit and the opponent is running the ball 40 times to kill clock.

TL;DR ... Mack's effort a deserving single game point leader, just like when Tyreek Hill might get 300 yards and 3 TDs with tons of 50+ yard receptions, (also rare), or a Peyton Manning throwing 6 TDs (also rare), or a TE with 150 yards and 3 TDs, or a RB with 4-6 TDs and 200+ yards.

Exceptional single game stats achieved for a player from his position group, when the usual outputs 90% of the time are what they are, in that 10-20 range.

Whats also rare is an Empire squad where every single starting QB scored negative points :( My highest scorer was a backup who saw no action and scored 0

Been there, done that ...with Jimmy G and Cousins.

I dont think anyone is arguing it deserved a massive score. 6 sacks is ridiculously rare. So much so that its never been done before.

whats even more rare is when two squads do it during the same round

Dixie had the same thing happen to him

Assumed last night that Winston would get the start because Carr wasn't fit. Dennis Allen clearly had different ideas. Knew the risk of trading Daniel Jones, but c'est la vie.

Also thought that Deshaun Watson was able to play; wasn't counting on the Browns backup QB playing and Cooper thereby not having a chance to catch many footballs.

Saddest win ive had in empire. This team sucks. Goedert quickly becoming another useless TE on my roster. :(

At least I can say I outscored a 3-0 team this week.
