i feel like people get blinkers on as to whos the flavour of the week ( i know i do)
All this talk of parker, ash, whitfield, baz...

i just looked back at my notes from last week - Matty rowell. 804K BE of 65, greatrnd 13 bye. last 3 109
my trades sorted !
Don't think the blinkers are on, re Rowell .....the talk has been too much inside contested ball, and not enough outside possessions

It was the same criticism of Tom Green last year ....in fact all the "experts" were saying, at the start of 2023, he's a SC player NOT an AFL Fantasy player

Same being said now of Rowell .....is the 3 rounds a genuine trend upwards ....hope you're right, BRIS will be a great test

What is Fyfe's "worst case average"? Considering he's averaging 33 and we're in round 10

If fit and in the midfield, he probably goes at 90. Two pretty big question marks on those conditions though. Certainly one to keep an eye on and a potential stepping stone to get through the latter byes if he trends upwards.

Do you want Rowell for the rest of the season?

Averaging 33 as a full time fwd in round 1 and 2 games as a sub...

Can't seriously think he will average 33 in a midfield role

The doubts are if he breaks down
Which he will, or be heavily managed the rest of the season.

How come like 80% of Supercoach is Victorian based with maybe 10% WA

But Fantasy is like 40% WA

Is Supercoach promoted more overseast? Like why dont they play fantasy- or why dont West Aussies play Supercoach?

Dom Sheed is better Value then Kennedy
Looks like he is the Fittest player in the side after the month off and has a floor of 70 (better then players like Chad Warner)
111 and 81 last 2

Simmo has confirmed Chesser plays this week. Probably either starts on the bench or sub.

If Cincotta holds his spot it could be five green dots on the bench for me which seems higher end at this stage of the season
If Cincotta plays and I trade Cowan instead of McVee, I'd have 30 green dots. Which is just crazy for me at any time of the season!

Want to hold Cowan for his looping potential though.

if he can maintain 95-100 for the rest of the year then sure happy to keep him until need to luxury trade
Hard to maintain the 20+ touches and 12 tackle stat line (he doesnt mark alot)
However the tackles dont seem like they are slowing down.
Could be a 100+ player soon. Especially without Miller is his out Long Term

Supercoach started exclusively as a game launched and managed by the Herald Sun (News Limited). That is why you won't ever hear much about AFL Fantasy on news limited products (FoxFooty).

Perth's daily newspaper is owned by Channel 7.

Still curious on how others would split Young vs Whitfield

Young - Better bye, safer option. Low(er) ceiling.
Whitfield - Higher Ceiling, better run coming up. Worse bye, higher injury risk
Now that we're only two games away from R12, I actually see whit as having the better bye.

IMO the time to target R12 players is Round 13 onwards.

Fair point, Whitfield though does become my 14th player on the R15 bye (10 keepers/4 rookies), so maybe I'll stop trading them in after this week.

Other weeks looking good though.
