I think Wardlaw will likely get the sub vest for a couple of games simply due to his injury history etc. And Roberts is forever a sub risk so im not sure he'll generate any cash.
Think we could say this about most Rookies ....I'd actually love to see the list of players "subbed out" this year ....to see if there's a trend on player type or position

Roberts, M. Johnson, Wardlaw, Wagner, Fahey, Cincotta, there'll be random rookies named this week guaranteed too. There's always rookies to downgrade to.
Wagner had shocking disposal and at his price i am not certain
Cincotta

If he gets named straight into my side

Interesting times

The sub rule is starting to have an affect on our rookies to generate $

Ginbey and Mackenzie this week have had their BE's decimated, the problem, for me, is do I trade 1 or both out because of it? They may have just been given a rest and are probably 2 of the most secure rookies JS wise.

Matt Roberts looks like he's getting a go but he's been sub 3 times already (made him cheap I guess) but what is his JS like?

Can't see Davey coming back after Snelling showed his wares so he's the 1st lamb to be slaughtered, really struggling with the 2nd lamb though to get Roberts in.

So it's....

Green suspended
Stocker suspended
Grundy finished with Gawn back
Ginbey sore/rested?
Chandler cooked/dropped with Gawn and Brown back?
Hollands spud
Mackenzie cooked cash gen with sub score
Uwland and Chesser still dead and not moving

Yeah too much has gone pear-shaped with injuries/suspensions this year to get a good ranking and not sure I can make a charge during the byes.

The problem I'm finding this week (and last) is: culling red dots isn't getting enough cash to upgrade. I'm having to take out a playing body to have enough cash to upgrade.

So either I go:

Uwland/Van Useless - S Mitchell
Wilmot/McVee - JJ

Or I cannot get a defensive rookie off the ground this week. If I use Chesser, Cowan etc for trade 2 - I don't have enough cash to get them to an actual AFL footballer.... Which is mildly annoying....

Does Chayce Jones stay on a wing or does he roam a bit? 85 and 108 is great but am always wary of wingers. I remember he was touted as an option a few years back but didn't amount to anything

In any case Crows board has a "I'm sorry Chayce Jones" thread that started recently which is a good sign 🤣

Wingman tend to push back or push forward every now and then. Jones seems like the type that would average a 60ish in the long run, but seems more likely to push forward to kick a goal rather than push back and chip it back and forth like Hinge does.

Hawks this week with BE of 11. Pretty tempted to see if he can pull out another 85 and make some serious coin over the next few weeks. No rookies apart from Fahey or Cincotta look like they can make 200k from here and they can't even get a friggen game

What I am running with at the moment.

Next week I'll be able to do Mackenzie out for a rookie and Stocker out for anyone I want, then move Day back in to cover Stockers spot.

Mackenzie with fwd status makes him a definite hold now for mine. Wilmot with DPP is handy too.

Green and Stocker out if both suspended. If they survive, Ginbey and Chandler out.

Who knows until tomorrow night, lol.

Im a bit more optimistic. Seems to have found his place after AFC experimented with him being an inside mid/small defender. He's passed the eye test, where he's finding a good amount of space for the +6s (in both attacking and defence).

Im bringing him in this week (famous last words). Im hoping for 85+ average, but 75+ average is more likely.
